I left once. I left ANGRY, MAD, SAD and DISAPPOINTED. Shouting caps intentional for emphasis. You just seem tired, not particularly mad or angry about specific things or people like I was, definitely specific people in my case.

But two years later, I came back by and a week after that I was making apps again and a witness again and well. Shit, this was not how I planned it but here I am... again.

So I will say, farewell, thanks for the thoughtful dialog when our ships passed each other this past couple weeks in the comments. But I won't say "goodbye forever", because well, this place is like an addiction or a pesky infection. It will make you sick, it will wear you out, but somehow, after that fades, it beckons again and demands your attention again. Perhaps just nostalgia that won't be met with the current state feeling like those gold old days, but perhaps there is something here worth saving.

Plenty of those votes were automated but I know some were organic as well. Plenty of the comments are just my responses. It's really not that big of a deal. I'm just a normal dude who has no clue what I ever did right, and I'm okay with that.

When you work on something for years and realize it's not leading anywhere, you stop. I live, I learn. I can take the skills I learned someplace else, if I was still interested in using them. I'm not. I woke up one day and wanted to be a writer and artist, so I did that. Then I woke up one day not wanting to be a writer and artist, so I did that. Put a lot of thought and time into both decisions. Stopping was just as hard as starting.

My life, is not something I talk about. There's a lot of things happening in life right now and I just bite my tongue. I don't trust people enough to be able to talk about what I'm going through. If I do, I feel like it just leads to more stress.

So that's where I'm at, and the plan is to just live through it. Tough it out. And carry on.
