Close Calls and Perfect Leaps.

Continuing the hit and run strategy against the captain, a close call required a perfectly timed jump before a brief photo mode session. After a fatal misstep off a bridge, the respawn forced an adaptation to new enemy routes, a heavy shield guard, a nearby Phylake, and a spear-dodging swim.

I continued with my hit and run strategy, successfully keeping the captain from returning to his tower, though I almost took a massive amount of damage during the exchange because I barely executed my defensive jump at the perfect time.

While tried another jump, I paused to experiment with some special filters in the photo mode that looked remarkably cool, although I found myself wishing the editing mode included custom borders or the official in-game logo rather than just basic color filters.

Returning to the action, I went back upward to deal more damage to the captain while he was still frantically looking around the area trying to pinpoint my exact location.

At this critical time, I made a terrible wrong move that allowed the captain to land a heavy strike on me, and right as I jumped off the bridge to escape, I accidentally took additional fall damage from a rocky section of the ground below and died.

Despite losing all that great progress from the previous run, I respawned and immediately launched my assault on the captain once more, though he surprisingly opted to take a completely different patrol route through the camp this time around.

To make matters worse, a heavy soldier equipped with a massive shield arrived to patrol the exact area that had been serving as my safe tactical den to fight the captain all this time.

With my usual hiding spot compromised, I had to pursue the captain outside the camp where he was searching for me, but as I moved in to attempt a stealth assassination, and I noticed the Phylake walking dangerously close to our position.

Immediately after landing a solid strike on my target, I dashed toward the nearby waterfront and began swimming across to the opposite shore while the heavy guard tried to shoot spears into the water toward me.

Once the initial chaos settled, I swam back toward the camp and noticed the captain was walking backward right into my line of sight, allowing me to seize the perfect opportunity to damage him once more before safely fleeing back into the depths of the water.

You are out here fighting for your life against a trained captain and still found time for a quick mid-battle photoshoot, that's cool.
Custom borders and logos would definitely take those shots to the next level.

Your screenshots and storytelling worked very well together here. The narrow escape into the water and the final surprise attack on the captain created a great sense of progression throughout the post.

This was a fun and suspenseful chapter. The constant hit and run tactics kept the fight interesting, and the captain changing his patrol route after the respawn made the encounter less predictable.
