Right now, I am in Almora district of the beautiful Indian state of Uttarakhand, where the winter season has just started to make its presence felt.

The chill in the air is slowly increasing, and you can clearly feel the touch of winter in the mornings and evenings.During sunset, the sky here turns into a magical painting.

Far away, the snow-covered Himalayan peaks start glowing in soft golden and orange shades, as if someone has spread a golden tint over a pure white blanket.

On one side there are endless snow-clad mountains, and on the other side the rays of the setting sun make the clouds and valleys look truly mesmerizing.These winter evenings in Almora feel like a special gift from nature.
