Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. Our world has really evolved thanks to technology and its continuous evolution. Gone are the days where we had to wait months for our letters to be delivered or to get a response from the recipient of a letter we sent out months ago. Thanks to technology today, we have the internet; we can send messages comfortably and from the comfort of our homes and get a response from the recipient in just minutes, if not in seconds. Technology has made communication and everything that concerns human life very easy.

Today we can comfortably do whatever we want without stressing so much thanks to technology, but then this development came with a disadvantage; like they say, everything that has benefits or merits must have demerits, and this disadvantage of technology evolving is giving me concern with each passing day. The increase in scams and how unsafe the internet that we depend on for everything is scares me sometimes. Every day these scammers are devising new means to scam you; sometimes you think you now know their format or method, and then tomorrow they are coming up with a new one, leaving you confused and in doubt.
Those days it was easier to stay safe online, but lately scams online are now rampant online and make it difficult to fall for one. Some of these scammers go as far as cloning a legitimate and well-known site or platform, and this particular kind of scam is what many people fall for. One of the ways I stay safe online is by not clicking any link I have doubts about, whether it is a legit site or platform or not. As long as I have my suspicions about the site or the link, I won't click it, and that has saved me from getting my phone hacked or falling for a scam. I have had both family and friends get their phones hacked just by clicking on a link; it sounds impossible until you experience it.
Another way to stay safe online is to never give out your private details. I have to trust the platform and carry out research before I fill out any personal details on the platform. There are many people who use their debit cards to make a purchase on just any platform, and then somehow it comes back to haunt them because they have given access to unknown people, and now they want to take advantage. Sometimes people fill their personal details whenever asked and anywhere without even checking the possible consequences of doing so.

So many people arm criminals without even knowing, so to be safe online, one just has to be careful about the sites and platforms they visit as well as regulate or control how much information they give out.
