In today's post I would like to show you a nicer side of Alberta. Summer is short but nature is amazing at that time.
And I don't want you to feel bad for us who live here.

It's also a green Thursday color challenge so these photos will fit well.

Lake Moraine doesn't need an introduction.

These stone stairs are just nearby, but only few can see their artistic value.

A different view of the lake. Beautiful, but you don't want to go there without a good repellent. Mosquitos are starving.

Another nice collection. I absolutely love the dock on the lake picture. Makes me want to get my boat out right now and hit the lake for some fishing. I also enjoyed the two sheds. Such a great shot and our eyes are drawn to the two sheds making the rest of the picture feel even more vast.

Wow. It's easy to think of Canada as like a big snowy mess, but you're right, there's really no reason to feel bad for you. It's beautiful. Hard to find scenery like that in warmer weather climates.

In some ways I feel the cold is kind of like nature's defense mechanism to keep it relatively untouched :p

Picture 1.
Is absolutely amazing, the green water and mountains partly covered in snow.
The clouds that rest on the top of the mountains.
The water stretches further than we see and turn right around the country with large forests. The stone and rocks in the front of the picture with trees are just beautiful.

Picture 2.
I count 12 stairs in stone and I think there are several steps further up.
There is hard work behind the stone stairs. They are big and must have demanded a lot of those who have made it.

Picture 3.
Beautiful scenery with a lot of straw by the lake, trees and shrubs.
I am surprised that I do not see bird there, possibly it's a far out in the lake.

Picture 4.
The sheds in the lower right corner can also be a human being in the doorway.
The sheds have clearly seen their better days.

Picture 5.
The rainbow you have caught with the beautiful colors seems to rise to the sky.

Picture 6.
I think it goes by night even though I see activity with boats there.
The sun that makes the light against the clouds is reflected in the quiet waters.

Picture 7.
It's just beautiful how the sun makes the colors in the cloud.
