hello!
here is my new alien creature collection ! :)
to make them i used air drying clay - some special new brand for kids
which is very easy to work with.
the clay comes in different colors but i used just white clay and then
painted it with spray-paint and acrylics.
exception was the carnivorous plant creature where i used a little bit of
black clay for the inside behind the teeth.

inside the creatures is a small blob made from tin-foil and paper-tape
only the "skin" is made of air dry clay.
and the long neck of the cyclops creature is reinforced with metal wire.
the eyes are just cheap plastic eyes but i think they look really nice .
the teeth in the carnivorous plant-creature
are made from self-made cold-porcelain-clay.
(cold porcelain clay : corn-starch,white glue,olive oil and vinegar)
before painting them i covered the eyes and teeth with tape.
first layer i did with black matte spray paint and then
colored them using acrylics. (dry-brushed)
for the foliage i used parts of brightly colored plastic plants for aquariums
and the arms of this little worm-dude are stolen from another insect toy. :)
dunno - making this just makes me happy.
