Today, despite the heavy rain in uyo, I had my first hive training session. It was indeed an eye-opening practical experience. In my training today, I was introduced to different hive tools like the ecency app, hiveblock chain, and also the ecency wave, which I learned step by step in exploring the hive ecosystem.

1. The ecency app

I learnt how to download the ecency app with my mobile phone.

Step 1: Go to your playstore
Step 2: Search for the ecency app
Step 3: Click on install
Step 4: After installation to you mobile app.
Step 5: Open the app and type in your username and posting keys to set up the app
Step 6 :Your app is ready for use.
The ecency app is an app on the hive ecosystem Which make easy for one to connect, post,
engage with other users as well as earn tokens in the hive ecocosystem. I was also taught how to subscribe to different communities like the hive growth hub.

1. The ecency wave
   I started with downloading the app from my Play Store using the same step as applied in settings up the ecency app
   The eceny wave allows users to create content, manage wallet, and gives users in the community access to participate directly online. It is also used to secure wallet management and make quick payment and safe logins within the hive ecosystem.

1. The hive blockchain
   This was the most exciting moment, where I used this app to purchase and receive physical goods. I was guided on how payment works and how easy it is to use digital currency to make real life purchase. The hive blockchain is a decentralised ecosystem that allows users to make payments, transfer tokens, and get rewarded with Hive and HBD tokens.

Generally, I had a wonderful experience today, which helped to improve both my technical knowledge and practical skills on how to use the hive ecosystem, engage in posts, and make purchases using the HBD token.
