When the tide rises, they get their nutrients, so it looks like that's a great spot for the feast. Sadly, these waters are not too clean because of the number of boats in the area, but these guys are prolific.

Fane run a bunch of great events like this. I saw Neil Degrasse Tyson a few years back through something they arranged.

I think it's a title for life. It was an inspiring event. He was always about hope and this gave me some.

He's a good orator too, which certainly would help in making it engaging, regardless of what people might think of the time in office / politics etc. There's clear intellect in the man.

Personally speaking, I don't save any politician. There are only the least bad ones.

They are just humans like us and you do have to sell yourself in that world, but some modesty ought to be acceptable.

That's what I thought too. At times, it looked like a small city made of wood, but that effect was difficult to capture in the photo.

Ironically, dead trees are essential for the health and variety of the forest. I read that trees even pass on nutrients to younger trees just before they die. Nature is mysterious.

There is a documentary about the secret life of trees ... it is mind-blowing stuff, and then when you consider the relationships betwen them and the local fungi ... there's a lot more going on out there than we will ever know!

They even eat fish, believe it or not. :D

Yep the Pacific Northwest. The west side of Oregon is the wetter/greener side. I live in central Oregon that tends to be drier. The map kind of shows the dividing line made by the Cascade Mountain Range. Green on the west and brown on the east. You get 4 seasons on both sides.

I bought Truecaller premium. I managed to avoid lot of scam calls with it. These days this is a must use app for me. I get a lot of scam calls of stock market and insurance.
