Rented a Mining Rig - Got ripped off

Last night I took the opportunity to rent a mining rig that had an advertised Hash-rate of 620Mh/s, that's a fair amount. I rented the rig for 6 hours. At first I didn't know how to connect a pool but I soon figured it out. The coin I was trying to mine was a fork from the Litecoin cryptocurrency and is a brand new coin called "strayacoin"

I rented the rig for the low low price of 0.0029 Ethereum, 6 hours. As it started mining the hashrate dropped to 0.01h/s. I basically got ripped off. The high it got to was 100kh/s that's like 0.01% of the amount I was supposed to be getting.

I created a support ticket on the issue and they did nothing and blamed it on the pool. I tried 4 different pools and none worked for long. Now I'm sitting here with 0.029 less ETH and pretty annoyed.

Raise a fuss, call em out, show them that inaction and/or scammy behaviour is a terrible business model.

I don't 100% know if it was the pool or the miner.

It seems more likely to have been the miner. .. you tried 4 pools after all.
