Leader @benbow2017 is getting closer to his third POLIAC championship. He defeated @browery in this round, which was predictable. The result of the rivalry between @new.things vs. @danmaruschak was a surprise. The vice-leader needed a win to maintain a realistic chance for the championship title, but the Australian also has ambitions to finish the competition on the podium, so @new.things's good performance and win are not surprising. @danmaruschak's loss gives him only a theoretical chance for the championship, but that would require two losses from the leader in the final matches. Such miracles have not happened in POLIAC.

Third place for the Australian is not yet certain, but the small advantage he has over his rivals gives him the best chance. @manuvert and @ptaku must count on a rival's mistake.

Sixth place for @cezary-io is becoming more and more realistic. He defeated @racibo in this round, closing the door on 6th place for him. However, this opened the door for @bucipuci to advance by one more position. We will find out if this happens in the final rounds.

The fight for survival in the GL has begun in earnest. @mushanov defeated @itz.inno, while @erikklok lost to @manuvert. As a result, three players now have 30 points, but only one of them will be relegated to the SL—the one with the worst total step count for the season. For now, it is the Bulgarian, but he still has two rounds to improve. I think the matter will be decided in the last round when @erikklok and @mushanov meet in a direct duel. The winner of that match will remain in the GL.

There is still a week left in the Silver League season, but the excitement is near its peak. The highlight of this round was the duel between @tom45p and @caspermoeller89, the leader versus the vice-leader. Both are close to securing promotion long before the end of the season, but despite this, they took the match very seriously.

Two SL records in one match! First, the Dane published a record score, and less than an hour later, the Czech beat that record by almost six thousand steps. I don't recall such high scores in the SL, so it can be considered more than just season records for the SL. BRAVO! @tom45p gained a three-point advantage over @caspermoeller89.

@davidthompson57's defeat in the match against @ronnie10 ruined his chances for the podium, but the TOP 5 is still within his reach. However, this is conditional on greater activity from the Englishman and mistakes from his rivals. I don't think any of the podium contenders will give up the fight, though anything is possible.
