I have been extra busy so far in January. Looks to be settling down for awhile. I have so many responses to my posts and new followers. I have noticed a trend on lots of flowers posted in your replies. I love it! I also thank you for them, and for your interest in my blog. So many kind words. I also appreciate your patience when I am slow in responding to what you write and your up-vote (cannot forget the re-steeming).
I came up with the title because my father would always end his letters to me with : "Think Spring" when writing me during the winter!
Here in North Idaho winter is still going strong. Had a temporary thaw, but this morning it is snowing again. What better time to post more flower pictures I have taken. Some are a few years old and taken with one of the first affordable digital cameras. I believe only 7 pixels. Some were taken with my phone. Might be a one or two with my newer Cannon Rebel.
Hope you enjoy. This first one was fromn a plant that my father gave me a few years before he passed. I have not been able to get any delphiniums to grow properly since:

In anticipation of Spring one must include daffodils I may have posted this one before but do like it!

This next 2 photo was taken at Manito Park & Botanical Gardens in Spokane, Washington. I need to make a visit this summer so I can get photos with my newer Canon camera:

And to close out this post I have one of the pretties Dahlias I have seen. (of course for me when I first see a flower I think it is the most beautiful flower ever).

Enjoy...I am still pulling together more wildlife video clips to share. I have a lot to go through and pull out those that are different from previous posts.
I appreciate everyone's support. Steem on!
hey.. @r2cornell..
sir it's some analysis of spring....
Spring is one of the four conventional temperate seasons, following winter and preceding summer. There are various technical definitions of spring, but local usage of the term varies according to local climate, cultures and customs. When it is spring in the Northern Hemisphere, it will be autumn in the Southern Hemisphere and vice versa. At the spring equinox, days are approximately 12 hours long with day length increasing as the season progresses.
Spring and "springtime" refer to the season, and also to ideas of rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal, resurrection and regrowth. Subtropical and tropical areas have climates better described in terms of other seasons, e.g. dry or wet, monsoonal or cyclonic. Often, cultures have locally defined names for seasons which have little equivalence to the terms originating in Europe. Spring is the time when many plants begin to grow and flower..

A Prayer In Spring
Robert Frost
Oh, give us pleasure in the flowers to-day;
And give us not to think so far away
As the uncertain harvest; keep us here
All simply in the springing of the year.
Oh, give us pleasure in the orchard white,
Like nothing else by day, like ghosts by night;
And make us happy in the happy bees,
The swarm dilating round the perfect trees.
And make us happy in the darting bird
That suddenly above the bees is heard,
The meteor that thrusts in with needle bill,
And off a blossom in mid air stands still.
A Prayer In Spring
For this is love and nothing else is love,
The which it is reserved for God above
To sanctify to what far ends He will,
But which it only needs that we fulfil.

in spring statement ..
love that poem
A Light Exists In Spring - Poem by Emily Dickinson
A light exists in spring
Not present on the year
At any other period.
When March is scarcely here
A color stands abroad
On solitary hills
That science cannot overtake,
But human naturefeels.
It waits upon the lawn;
It shows the furthest tree
Upon the furthest slope we know;
It almost speaks to me.
Then, as horizons step,
Or noons report away,
Without the formula of sound,
It passes, and we stay:
A quality of loss
Affecting our content,
As trade had suddenly encroached
Upon a sacrament.

We also have winter season right now just like North Idaho but spring season is the most admirable and fantastic season of the world. There are so many colorful flowers and much more to see in the spring season. We always appreciate good and colorful things, in other ways, it actually tempted us in no time, that's the beauty of life, even a colorful life.
You've taken a very good pictures using mobile and Canon Rebel. I don't have enough money to buy Canon that's why I always used my smartphone for taking colorful flower images which I've shared on my blog. So, I'm happy you're relevant to my niche. I would love to follow @r2cornell . :)
When all the world appears to be in a tumult, and nature itself is feeling the assault of climate change, the seasons retain their essential rhythm. Yes, fall gives us a premonition of winter, but then, winter, will be forced to relent, once again, to the new beginnings of soft greens, longer light, and the sweet air of spring.

sir some analysis about gardening....
Gardening is the practice of growing and cultivating plants as part of horticulture. In gardens, ornamental plants are often grown for their flowers, foliage, or overall appearance; useful plants, such as root vegetables, leaf vegetables, fruits, and herbs, are grown for consumption, for use as dyes, or for medicinal or cosmetic use. Gardening is considered by many people to be a relaxing activity.
Gardening ranges in scale from fruit orchards, to long boulevard plantings with one or more different types of shrubs, trees, and herbaceous plants, to residential yards including lawns and foundation plantings, to plants in large or small containers grown inside or outside. Gardening may be very specialized, with only one type of plant grown, or involve a large number of different plants in mixed plantings. It involves an active participation in the growing of plants, and tends to be labor-intensive, which differentiates it from farming or forestry.

What joy is there in the air in the sky, in the spring, in the morning, everybody swings in the morning, all the flowers in the morning, and the birds sing,
Spring is like another, your garden and flowers look like spring has come,
spring time is a great time for all,
you are a great man, i like you always,
Thank you, sir

Thank you for visiting my blog. I would gladly be of assistance . let me know any questions you might have any questions. You can use this venue or use https://steemit.chat/home and then use @r2cornell to find me.
I have been on here almost a year and I am still figuring things out. By responding to other's posts is a good way to start. Upvote them, even though you may not have much power when you start. When you are ready do an introduction posts. In the tag column you will find a category "introduce yourself". You can see what others have done. I actually started commenting on other's posts and probably a month or so later did my introduction post. I may have posted something before that too.
Please feel free to ask and I will help as I can.
By the way , Welcome to steemit! It is a great place to interact with people all over the world and share whatever you want. It is a great place!
A flower, sometimes known as a bloom or blossom, is the reproductive structure found in flowering plants (plants of the division Magnoliophyta, also called angiosperms). The biological function of a flower is to effect reproduction, usually by providing a mechanism for the union of sperm with eggs. Flowers may facilitate outcrossing (fusion of sperm and eggs from different individuals in a population) or allow selfing (fusion of sperm and egg from the same flower). Some flowers produce diaspores without fertilization (parthenocarpy). Flowers contain sporangia and are the site where gametophytes develop. Many flowers have evolved to be attractive to animals, so as to cause them to be vectors for the transfer of pollen. After fertilization, the ovary of the flower develops into fruit containing seeds.
In addition to facilitating the reproduction of flowering plants, flowers have long been admired and used by humans to bring beauty to their environment, and also as objects of romance, ritual, religion, medicine and as a source of food.

A flower is a special kind of plant part. Flowers are also called the bloom or blossom of a plant. The flower grows on a stalk – a thin node – which supports it. Flowers have petals. Inside the part of the flower that has petals are the parts which produce pollen and seeds.
Flowers are the reproductive structure of flowering plants, which are plants of the division Magnoliophyta, also called the Angiosperms.
In many plants, a flower is its most colourful part. We say the plant 'flowers', 'is flowering' or 'is in flower' when this colourful part begins to grow bigger and open out. There are many different kinds of flowers in different areas in the world. Even in the coldest places, for example the Arctic, flowers can grow during a few months.
Flowers may grow separately on the plant, or they may grow together in an inflorescence.

Flowers have long been admired and used by humans. Most people think that flowers are beautiful. Many people also love flowers for their fragrances (scents). People enjoy seeing flowers growing in gardens. People also enjoy growing flowers in their backyards, outside their homes. People often wear flowers on their clothes or give flowers as a gift during special occasions, holidays, or rituals, such as the birth of a new baby (or a Christening), at weddings (marriages), at funerals (when a person dies). People often buy flowers from businesses called florists.

Yes when your Steem Power is low it is difficult to get things going. Some of us bought Steem when it was very low in cost. Buying Steem and Powering it up is one way. Others just keep plugging away and it slowly builds up. The best way is to find areas of interest and keep commenting on other people's posts. Quality comments can generate steempower and steem dollars.
Always upvote posts you like even if you do not have the power. I try and upvote each persons comment on my posts. The amount depends on how much of my power I have used up for a 24 hour period.
Review the section "introducing yourself". When you feel comfortable write a short introduction. I waited maybe a month because I was trying to figure things out. I see some people will go back and do another introduction as they become familiar with Steemit. Doing an introduction does help others to get to know you. There is no wrong way to do an introduction, at least in my opinion.
If you can find something of interest you can post it.
Sometimes what I post does not show much income such as my original post for this thread. I do earn money but a small amount, but then on each comment and upvote I do I earn more money, especially when I get a lot of comments and upvotes. Do not get discouraged...there are a lot of people who do not have a lot of Steempower. I always tell people that they need to enjoy themselves first and in time the followers will come your way and earnings will grow.
When you post something and/or do an introduction let me know and I will visit your blog and upvote and resteem it for you.
By the way where are you from? What is your first language?

Thank you!
Here is some information that I posted for @scilwa that should get you going:
it takes time to build steem power (SP) . Some of us bought steem to get started when it was $0.20 or less. Many start earning by visiting other's posts and upvoting (even if little SP), but more importantly by commenting. Good comments can generate SP. Have to wait 7 days before it shows up in your wallet so be patient. Some do a lot of re-steeming, but that works best from my experience when you build a following.
Read through some of the introduction posts to see how others did an introduction of who you are. you can go to: https://steemit.com/trending/introduceyourself
I spent some time on Steemit before I did an introduction. Some do one early on and then do another when they are more familiar with the format.
I recently read an article that would be perfect for you to review for newcomers. Check out:
