I made this piece trying to get into the steampunk spirit a bit. It could be an ancient machine that used to pull energy from a huge crystal that has long since been removed. Inside, I welded an antique watch movement. Maybe crystals do in fact have energetic properties, but you need a machine to harness and focus that energy properly. Lost technology. About 2 inches square, fine silver and a little bit of 24k gold leaf.
