How fast after payment i recive vote ?

The vote of @randowhale is now becoming irrelevant. Many votes in the range of 0.5% to 1.6%. Most of it now, is break even in returns.

Would be nice to see it back at least start 1%, don't you think?

Hasn't been breaking even for me last couple of tries, I'm gonna try and use it one more time like @randowhale suggests, a few hours after posting. I like the idea of it but don't have enough sbd to keep wasting it just for visibility..

It is happening but what goes around comes around, the STEEM investment becomes value to your posts somehot.

Onw time I waited for @randowhale voting power to ebcome 100%, I still got only 4% upvote. Whereas I saw on one post it got 48% upvote. But I still use @randowhale upvote when I have 2 STEEM in my wallet. Otherwise I just use minnowsupport on Discord.

News for users, whale is really becoming a bit dry these days. Not what it used to be before. Randowhale is now at 20.96% Voting Power, and giving still between 1% - 5% per vote. For a1% I received approximately 3.05$ (USD, not SBD) and for 4.3% vote approximately 5.40$, not really what I used to expect :(

It means the reward you receive for the vote will be comparable to what it was with the single account voting and previous vote % range. And that is what is being seen at this point, as expected.

I got a 0.7 % vote from @randowhale for an article with 11 votes ~ 12.40 $ before, 14.20 $ after... That's my first loss using @randowhale. As I've seen @randowhale1 is at 100% voting power, but the last vote was yesterday. If both accounts would be used for voting, it could always be a positive result, but as it is now I prefer to be cautious.

When is the right moment???

Many people create a new post and immediately send the 2 SBD to @randowhale, but that's of course not the best way of doing it. One should wait some hours/days, so the post got enough votes and the whales vote will have a much greater impact. I'm not sure, how to calculate it exactly, but maybe I'll find out and make a post about this topic in the coming weeks ;)

I'll follow you, I'd like to learn whatever I can to increase my chances of doing better on the platform.

It's not based on amount, it's based on voting percent. And if people are using wisely that should not be the case the majority of the time. I also don't see "quite a few" saying this.

Wow I was just reading @sweetsssj blog she is a very successful blogger not only does she have great content and a huge 3000+ following me included but she transfers 2 sbd to @randowhale on a regular basis. I dont have that kind of steem, I want it but not there yet. Is this the secret to success sendin you steem or is this contractual. Thanks for the info, just trying to learn the waves of the steem stream. Newbie, minnow here just trying to get some bait.

@rachgudy I too did not have much at first, but if you post really good and sensible blog posts (and not just an image or a sentence), you will be like me occasionally get noticed and earn more per vote. The most trying time is the initial 2 weeks when you are learning to get to know people, and then upvote and also post really good content that is worth reading; then when you have your first rewards from the 8th day and they are more than 2 SBD, you can choose wisely which post to submit to @randowhale to help you to boost up that earnings with the system provided.
A lot of people take the system for granted and depletes the ability to help along the minnows, so when good posts really need the boost they don't get much.

That's what randowhale gives. Not a half (50 %) vote.

A 50% full power - randowhale vote would give hundreds of dollars. By half I mean within half the voting range, i.e the mean outcome given a random vote.

I paid $2.00 when it spower vote was 47% and I get 0.6% = $1.10

I used @randowhale twixce. Once I got 1 % vote ($1.81) and then I got 1.9 % vote (> $3.25).

So,

I have given 4 SBD and got nearly 5 SBD. I think randowhale is fun and it can be bad fun when all votes are worth less than 2 SBD (which won't happen perhaps).

looks like you are not counting 25% curators reward. You should decrease your 5SBD on 25% and as a result you'll get only $3.75

@sharmin , I have noticed that votes always set it to different rewards, it is not a 100% SBD to SBD in return, because it is voting, not interest rates occurring.
I take it as an investment on my Steem power too, because the more steem power we have the more influence we will have on our posts and our votes for others.
That's just my 2 cents thought...

0.5-2.5 % Vote is TOO LOW a range. Please increase at least up to 2-5 %. Thank you!

@randowhale I know you have been saying that we need to upvote later when the payout has got some traction already. How is this calculated though? I tried to find it but had no luck. Please respond to this as it will drive me crazy. Need to know the calculation.

Was always my understanding that if 10 people with a $1 vote the post will be $10. But you are saying it will be more as the post payout gets higher?

Hi, as a minnow I started to use @randowhale upvotes on some of my posts, but it seems that recently it doesn't pay off. Even though the randowhale1 account is fully charged, I received a 0,6% upvote from randowhale. So paying 2SBD I received 1,79SBD. Counting that only 75% of that goes to the author of the post it is a loss.

Why the votes are not sent from the new account or the % is not higher so that at least we get the money back?

Just so you know - with the previous four posts I have boosted using randowhale I think I actually lost money on all of them - I think it's a combination of low vote power and low percentage on those votes.

Resetting the vote percentage range from 0.5-2.5 % to the new and generous 2-5 % would be highly appreciated.

Forgive this newbie, but I have been reading everywhere about @randowhale yet I still don't understand the concept quite fully (as per my most recent blog post) I am pretty confused in here :S From what I have learned about my wallet is that I need to have something in it to make the transfer for any of this to be relevant... but the wallet grows from upvotes etc? Am I paying for advertising? How do I get the money in the wallet? Again... I'm new here... willing and eager to understand this big ocean :) Any info would be super appreciated
