Hallo ihr Lieben! 😊

Wie geht es euch?

Leider geht es mir gesundheitlich gerade wieder sehr schlecht. Letzte Woche hatte ich einen Hörsturz („idiopathischer Hörverlust“). Ich musste und muss aktuell hoch dosiertes Cortison nehmen. Ich hoffe sehr, dass sich alles wieder normalisiert.

Im Moment kann ich noch nicht normal hören, habe starke Kopfschmerzen und sehe auch nicht richtig. Die Nebenwirkungen vom Cortison sind ebenfalls deutlich spĂŒrbar
 Und als Musikerin wĂ€re ein langfristiger Hörverlust wirklich eine Katastrophe. Ich hoffe so sehr, dass sich alles wieder vollstĂ€ndig erholt.

Ich habe jetzt eine ganze Woche nur gelegen und mich ausgeruht – und muss das auch weiterhin tun, damit sich mein Körper hoffentlich erholen kann.

So etwas bekommt man oft durch zu viel Stress ĂŒber einen lĂ€ngeren Zeitraum. Es ist definitiv ein Warnsignal, das ich sehr ernst nehmen muss – sonst wird das nĂ€chste Problem vermutlich noch schlimmer.

How are you?

Again, my health is terrible. Last week I had an "idiopathic sudden sensorineural hearing loss". I had and still have to take high doses of cortisone. So I hope everything will get back to normal again. Right now, I still canÂŽt hear normal, I have alot of headache and canÂŽt see right. The side effects from the cortisone also kick in... And as a musician, I long term hearing loss would suck hard... I really so much hope it gets back to normal again. I was just laying around relaxing for a full week now. And I need to continue doing this, so it can hopefully recover.

You normally get this from too much stress over a long time. It is a wake-up call and I need to take it very serious, or the next one will be a much worse thing.

Please be so kind and keep all your fingers crossed for me... Thank you. ❀

I hope you feel better soon ! Strangely I recently found that a teaspoon of powdered ginger really helps me with headaches and migraines, but it probably doesn't work in all cases. I sympathise about stress, it can be a terrible thing over the long term.

But don't let it stop you, you make wonderful things, and never forget that Beethoven wrote some of his best music after he went deaf....
