As a minnow, it doesnt seem to matter what I do. If I vote content I like, I vote hot content or I vote trending content. If I comment, I post or do anything, it doesnt really seem to make any difference. And I hate voting and seeing that I am not even worth a penny. So the only way I seem to have any chance of catching up is to get Steempower.

It was easy to setup my account. You can choose to earn about 50 different cryptocurrencies but I chose to earn steem since my plan is to pump it into my steemit account. After running some test, I found that I could make about 2.00 a day on auto pilot. This is not huge by any means, but for a minnow like me who sturggles to make half that in a day on steemit right now, its a good chunk of steempower.

As you can see in the last 20 minutes I have made about 5 cents of steampower. It's not a get rich method, but its getting me some steempower.
