Work In Progress 🚧

I'm happy with how the painting is evolving for trying out a new technique and style. I don't know if I will continue with this kind of style. It's challenging and pushes all my perfectionist buttons 😰😰😰

This post will be my last update for work in progress. I will be defining and adding highlights. The highlights, refining lines, and blending are my favorite part of the painting.

11 x 13 inches, hot press 300lb cotton paper, watercolor, Gouache, and Pigma pen

It's going to be in the 70s for Christmas here in Tulsa, Oklahoma 😱😂😂😂 I'm going to plant some carrots and potatoes.

I remember when you showed us this work before in a post of yours, honestly it does make a difference, I like how the details were perfected and now look cleaner and smoother, as I said before, the wing details is my favorite part and the way you improved the details like the face... is exposed! Nice!

The next post will be the finished painting. I asked my husband to pick my next subject: car, soccer player, or animal. He asked for a leopard. Now all I have to do is finish the Kingfisher 😂😂😂
