Hello fellow Steemians!

If you find my analysis informative in any way, please smash the up vote, i'd really appreciate it. Leave a comment with your view and price prediction for Ethereum. As a mechanical engineering and business graduate, I've been analyzing price charts for the past 3 years and have recently found steemit. This platform seems to be an incredible way for me to share my thoughts on things I've developed some experience in and to interact with people in a very positive community. Below are some of my quick thoughts on Ethereum.

The chart below shows the big picture of ETH/USD. The longer term trend line did hold over last weeks sell off. Alot of talk in the community seems to be of how the ICO regulation will affect ETH moving forward.

The shorter term chart below shows ETH/USD breaking out of a 3 week downtrend while moving in an upward channel. it will be interesting to see how ETH reacts if a bitcoin starts to approach $10,000 USD.

While the recent sell off is painful, Ethereum is still up about 50x compared to just 1 year ago. Quite incredible.

But the moving avgs are showing a downtrend is to continue in your chart.
