Ready 2 Go Nuclear...

When I think about it, I'm not sure I've ever even used the term "punk bitch." If I have, it surely must've been decades ago. But oh boy, is that term present after dealing with one yesterday...

It's pretty rare that I get really pissed off. But wow, did this punk bitch ever do it. To a degree I question my own wellbeing, given how completely consumed with anger I was all day yesterday, and still lingering into today.

Maybe I've been naive to "give people the benefit of the doubt" too often, operating from a default that generally credits someone I meet with a basic degree of common sense, decency and respect. Of course, life proves not everyone is equally rationed in these. But when certain boundaries of integrity are breached and disrespect embodied... Mr. Nice has disa-fucking-ppeared.

So I've had a pair of Union Ultra snowboard bindings for sale on Facebook. Price new = $399+tax. My starting asking price, as they're in fantastic condition = $300.

Dude messages me, asking if I'd do $200 cash.. "Nope."

Maybe a couple days later, I message back, saying I'd meet halfway at $250.

"I only have $200, brother."

Maybe a couple more days... "fuck it, ok." I wasn't gonna use 'em again as they're a mismatch for my riding style, and I sold the few boards they would suit better. Better just clear 'em out of my space and pass on to someone who'll appreciate 'em, giving a good deal if they're that strapped.

I tell dude where I'm at, what times are good. One day, he says he can come at 4. Ok. Then, ghost. Whatever.

Nearly a week passes, he messages again, asking if I'm still around. Yeah. Repeat times that'd work. He says could come next day at 8:30am. Ok. Bit on the early side for me, but figure I'll work with it and set alarm to ensure I'm up.

No sign of dude until after 9am. Already, my spidey senses are going off, after it looking like kid practically flaked twice, on top of his lowballing. And checking my astrology: Mercury oppose Sun transit. I could already feel the tension expressed in the ordeal. But whatever. Give him clear instructions: come to hotel lobby at resort, lemme know when he's here, and I'd come down and meet him by the fireplace. Simple. Yet somehow not for this guy.

In any case, he arrives, we sit down. I pull out the bindings for him to check out.

He asks how stiff/soft they are... repeatedly.

Bro. Did you seriously not do your fucking homework? You go out of your way to buy something after having worked out a good fucking deal... and didn't even bother to look on the internet at any details of the actual product??

But hey, whatever.

He asks if there's.a "card/paper" in the box. No. There never was any. Not sure wtf he's expecting.

Then: "will you take $150?"

I grab the bindings to put them back in the box, with my energy likely speaking rather clearly as resentment growing. "Get out of here."

He sorta nervously, timidly retraces. "Ok, I'll pay $200." My patience is running out, while he fumbles with his phone and starts asking again about how soft/stiff they are. Ugh.

Then he says some stupid shit like, "I'll go and check, and then come back later."

Bro. You have a fucking phone in your hand right now. Do you know how to use the internet? You can go to the Union website and get your fucking answer straight from the source right here, right now. Here, I'll do it for ya... I go to the site and confirm: 6 out of 10. Just as I'd already told him.

"Ok. I'll go tell my friend I pay $200." Not sure why he needed his friend's approval, but whatever. He implies he's gonna go consult with his friend waiting in the truck, as though he's coming back.

And after a few minutes, I get the clear sense: he ain't coming back.

I wait maybe 10 minutes before texting him. No reply. Only a few more, and I'm out. If he came back and I wasn't there, well, maybe I'll take my sweet time going back down to reciprocate the waiting time wasted.

But nope. Never came back. Just straight bailed.

And... blocked me on Facebook.

Punk bitch.

[IMAGE: https://images.hive.blog/DQmTZQ5MQWSG15hxQve3mPUikNirr1oEmGUGFvJ7DoQgKXy/9b469b37-f5e9-45ca-8a2e-62afa6505680.jpg]

The lowballing from $300 to $200, whatever. It's a ski town, people are broke ass. I wanted to clear the clutter outta my space, I was willing to give someone a deal.

The second lowball of trying to negotiate down $150 after having wasted my time after saying ok to $200... not cool. But whatever.

The fact dude seemingly did zero homework on this set of bindings before coming to get them, after a price was settled, wasting my time repeatedly asking the same fucking question to which the answer is 100% clear.on the product's website and any/every review.. dumbfounding. But whatever.

But the fucking disrespect of wasting my time by saying he's going to go "tell his friend" the price as though he'll be back in a couple minutes, to completely bail...??

Oh man. I don't consider myself someone who makes "enemies." But my honest response to that punk bitch shit be feeling like I'm ready to go to fucking war.

And then... to discover the punk bitch fucking blocks me on Facebook...? Well, to be honest, that ain't really any provocation the same as the disrespect of my time. What that does perhaps provoke: some pity on the fucking kid for how sad it must be for him to look in the mirror every day and see such a little punk bitch.

[IMAGE: https://images.hive.blog/DQmRJLS6gc9GTT3bmrNFivpVYCTgaViCkbpgmaFEM5WczQW/IMG_1431.jpeg]

If dude was just dumb, didn't do ANY research on the bindings he said he wanted to buy... ok, whatever. If for whatever reason - whether he thought he could get away with a $150 lowball offer OR they were softer bindings than he wanted (which could've been easily fucking determined by taking a whopping 30 seconds to simply research the fucking bindings)... whatever.

But be a fucking adult and communicate that.

Not fucking say you're going to "tell your friend" the price as though you're coming back in a couple minutes to buy them... and leave someone waiting there as if they've got nothing better to do, completely fucking disrespecting their time.

I dunno what country dude was from. Somewhere central/south America. And sure, maybe his English isn't good, and he didn't know how to communicate clearly.

But rule #1 of foreign travel: RESPECT THE LOCALS.

And no fucking way in hell this punk bitch could try convince himself or anyone else he did nothing wrong when his fucking next move was to block me on Facebook,** so as to avoid any accountability and ensure I couldn't leave a user review.

Seriously, man.

I don’t ever wish harm on people, but oh boy do I ever hope karma catches up hard with that punk bitch for the disrespect to teach him loud & clear not to waste people’s fucking time like that.

[IMAGE: https://images.hive.blog/DQmXQnTD6aP3rcMMkWu5zndddDuwQiMcD3g7uQdDVqNmu8Q/d71c8dda-731e-434f-a639-5c5ab85d9e92.jpg]

At least one good thing that came out of it: a clarity check on how I've been valuing my own time - and who I give how much of it to on what terms.

Fuck being nice. I'm done. I may still give everyone a starting amount of respect & consideration by default... but perhaps this is a lesson in recalibrating that amount a whole lot quicker in response to subtle signs of a lack of reciprocation.

And yeah, there's part of me self-doubting my response, questioning whether I should be "more forgiving" or "just let it go." But maybe sometimes anger serves its place. Maybe we gotta own the fury when someone blatantly disrespects us... not solely to dwell in it (which I might've been doing), but as a catalyst for awakening new levels of self-respect.

Maybe at some level, dude pulled his bitch moves because I had the door open for him to. "Is what it is." But/and, the opportunity to refine from hereon in.

i.e. "PRICE FIRM. Research model & specs." in ads when selling something. No time given to lowballers. Screen out the punk bitches that aren't serious.

Or idk.

Maybe life just entails dealing with disrespectful assholes at times, no matter how tightly we'd like to establish all the boundaries to keep 'em up.

Blah, blah, blah.

Vent/rant complete.

I've never had much luck with Facebook Marketplace as a seller or buyer. Web2 abandoned usability ages ago for ad revenue instead.

Might vary place-to-place. I’ve been surprised at how damn big/popular it’s gotten here in Canada. I’ve only ever sold, but there’s alot available if looking to buy.

Definitely hit & miss tho. This was obvious miss, though sold a snowboard last week to solid dude, no haggling, came well out of his way, all good. yin & yang. ☯️

Blurt Stands — While Hive Stumbles Under the Weight of Its Own Shadows

Friends, creators, truth-tellers—

Let us not whisper this truth, but proclaim it with the clarity of dawn breaking over a weary land: Blurt.blog is not just another platform. It is a refuge. A rebellion. A return to what Hive.blog was always meant to be.

They are not hunted by algorithmic hounds or shadow armies masquerading as “curators.”
Here, you are not judged by the grudges of gatekeepers, but met with the quiet dignity of a community that believes expression should be encouraged—especially when it is bold, raw, or inconvenient.

Contrast this with what festers elsewhere.

On Hive.blog—a place once brimming with promise—a rot has taken root. Not in its code, but in its culture. A handful of self-anointed enforcers—@themarkymark, @Buildawhale, @Hurtlocker, and their legion of coordinated puppets—have turned the downvote into a weapon of mass discouragement. They strike not at “low-quality content,” but at independent thought, at rising voices, at anyone who dares thrive outside their narrow corridors of control.

And when confronted, they shrug.
“Oh, it’s not censorship,” they say, as if semantics could scrub the stain of suppression from their hands.

But let us be unequivocal:
When a system allows a few to systematically silence many—under the guise of “community standards” or “curation”—that is not moderation. That is censorship by another name.

It is the velvet glove over the iron fist.
It is exclusion dressed as discernment.

So let us carry this truth far and wide—not with bitterness, but with quiet certainty:

If you believe the future of free expression must be free—not just from corporations, but from the petty tyrants who replace them—then stand with us.

The world needs to know.
Not because Blurt is perfect—but because it is principled.
Not because it is loud—but because it listens.

And in an age where so many platforms echo with the clatter of control,
Blurt offers something radical:

it is passed, person to person, like a torch in the night.

And tonight, the torch burns bright on Blurt.

@themarkymark, @buildawhale, @usainvote, and associated accounts:

Repeated downvotes targeting transparency efforts raise urgent questions about Hive’s governance. Automated tactics, coordinated curation trails, and alt-account farming undermine trust in the platform. When truth is silenced without dialogue, it erodes Hive’s decentralized ethos.

Key Concerns:
1. Systemic Manipulation:
- Coordinated downvotes from high-HP accounts suppress dissent, creating a chilling effect on free expression.
- Automation and alt-account networks allegedly exploit rewards, distorting organic curation.

  1. Community Exodus:
    - Creators flee to platforms like Blurt, where downvotes don’t exist, fearing punitive curation over engagement.

  2. Governance Crisis:
    - Hive’s credibility hinges on accountability. Who decides what content thrives? How do we audit power structures?

Solutions Needed:
- Curation Transparency: Publish clear rationales for downvotes to foster trust.
- Community Audits: Leverage blockchain data (e.g., Bilpcoin’s analyses) to identify abusive patterns.
- Reward Reform: Adjust algorithms to penalize manipulation and reward authentic engagement.

The Bilpcoin team advocates for open dialogue, not division. Hive’s future depends on collaboration—not coercion. Let’s rebuild a platform where truth isn’t buried but debated, strengthened, and celebrated.

Transparency isn’t optional—it’s the foundation of trust.

A Message to @themarkymark, @buildawhale, and Associates

Every downvote cast in shadow, every silence imposed without dialogue, is not a victory—it is a confession. A confession that truth cannot be stifled, only delayed. With each punitive click, you dig deeper into the bedrock of credibility, crafting a chasm between your actions and the community’s trust.

from Imgflip Meme Generator

@themarkymark, @buildawhale & Co,

How can you continue to downvote the truth, LOL? It’s almost comical how blatantly you attempt to suppress what cannot be hidden. The blockchain records everything—every action, every transaction, every move you make. Yet still, you persist in this futile game of trying to silence what is undeniable.

from Imgflip Meme Generator

@themarkymark, @buildawhale, and Co: While our opinions may differ, on-chain transparency reveals repeated patterns of concern. Coordinated downvotes without explanation, 'farming' schemes (e.g., #buildawhalefarm), and adversarial engagement harm Hive’s community-driven ethos.

Key Issues to Address:
1. Downvote Practices: Silencing dissent erodes trust. Constructive dialogue, not punitive curation, fosters growth.
2. Accountability: Transactions and curation trails are public. Scrutiny is inevitable—integrity demands addressing concerns openly.
3. Community Impact: Driving users to platforms like Blurt/Steemit weakens Hive. Creators seek ecosystems that value collaboration over conflict.

A Path Forward:
- Engage in open discussions about governance and fairness.
- Audit curation practices to align with Hive’s decentralized values.
- Prioritize transparency—publish explanations for downvotes or collaborative reforms.

The Bilpcoin team remains committed to exposing truth and advocating for solutions. Let’s work toward healing, not division.

Note: All claims are based on publicly verifiable blockchain data. Constructive dialogue is encouraged.

HiveTransparency #CommunityFirst #BilpcoinSupport"

from Imgflip Meme Generator

@themarkymark & Co, the choice is yours. Stop the bad downvotes. Turn off the BuildaWhale scam farm. Cease playing with people’s livelihoods. Let Hive thrive as it was meant to—as a beacon of hope, creativity, and collaboration.

Or step aside and let those who truly care take the reins.

Because the truth won’t disappear. No amount of lies can change it.

It’s over.

from Imgflip Meme Generator

The Bilpcoin team brings these truths not out of malice but necessity. We have no need to fabricate lies or cloak our intentions CALL US WHAT YOU LIKE —for the facts speak loudly enough on their own. What we present here is not conjecture but reality, laid bare for anyone willing to see.

from Imgflip Meme Generator

@themarkymark & Co we urge you once more: STOP. Stop hiding behind tactics that harm others. Stop clinging to practices that erode trust within the Hive community. Let the truth stand—not because we proclaim it, but because it exists independent of any one person’s approval or disdain.

from Imgflip Meme Generator

TURN OFF THE BUILDAWHALE SCAM FARM
- STOP THE BAD DOWNVOTES
- STOP PLAYING WITH PEOPLE’S LIVELIHOODS

Key Issues That Demand Immediate Attention:

The problems are glaring, undeniable, and corrosive to the Hive ecosystem. They must be addressed without delay:
- Downvote abuse
- Farming schemes
- Speaking disrespectfully to others
- Encouraging people to avoid certain users out of personal dislike
- Self-voting with alt accounts
- Self-funding projects through self-votes
- Promoting games that don’t even exist (LOL)

These practices harm not just individual users—they undermine the very foundation of Hive, eroding trust and poisoning the community. Such actions are unethical and outright destructive.

@themarkymark, @buildawhale & Co,

That sucks. I am sorry you had to deal with that. People are so disappointing most of the time anymore.

@rok-sivante | Jan. 8, 2026, 4:36 p.m. | Votes: 1 | [ VOTE ]

hmmm, i'm not sure if I may have given the wrong impression, or may somewhat be projecting my own (mis)interpretations onto this reply of yours. but either way, wanna make it clear in case of the former: none of this was asking for sympathy. it's not like, "oh my God, this was such a horrible experience, I feel so disrespected."

on the contrary, while it may seem weird, I actually don't take it personally. While I may reference "disrespect" - the infuriating thing was not the disrespect towards my time, but rather the disrespect - period. The complete lack of fucking common sense, integrity and basic human decency. None of which really has much of anything to do with me or my personal experience of it at all, so much as just objectively observing the impact some ignorant punk can have as going about disrespectfully in the world.

the "suffering" over it for a day plus is mine to own. other people probably woulda vented out the wave and minutes and been done with it. for whatever reasons, I held on - but again, it wasn't so much sitting in the victim role of being "wronged" so much as perhaps extracting the lesson from the experience that it's time to upgrade how I value my time and who gets it on what terms. not something that needs any "i'm sorry you had to deal with that" type sympathy - although I appreciate the gesture. lol.

Nah, I'm must empathetic like that. Too many people these days aren't.

Lol, sounds like someone who'd call themselves a 'businessman' xD

Looks like you gave him waay to many chances to disrespect you. The first ghosting already commuicated that he does not respect you or your time, because, if he was genuine he would have dropped a - hey, something came up, can we reschedule - and not just ghost. Maybe this was his way of susing out if you'd drop the price, he maybe figured that if you're still talking to him after that then you're desperate enough to get rid of them and lower the price even more.

Not showing up at a time you pick out yourself is already next level of wtf, tho.. xD

People be weird, I've found that the best way to go about stangers in particular is to calmly but firmly set boundaries early on, my energy is too sparse and thus too exclusive to waste it on punks like this one. Maybe THAT'S why I come off as scary to people.. xD

honestly, I feel like this is a fine example of one of those little things I'm missing without a good woman in my life. lol.

i was already half-feeling that throughout the rage - no one to properly share with. but i forgot about the wise feedback half.

like, I used to often (unfairly) think wifey was 'hypersensitive' to microaggressions & subtle signs of disrespect - cuz frankly, I was oblivious. but its become alot clearer since: you ladies just seem to have a higher intelligence when it comes to that/this kind of stuff.

and yeah, there are surely some guys who get this to a far greater degree than myself - or maybe I'm just slow & dumb on this one, perhaps too naive & inexperienced, giving people benefit of doubt because I can't personally relate to or understand how some could be operate like that without such basic common sense & decency. but i feel that - as embodied here in the way you put - women in general are just way more attuned to these layers of social dynamics.

and yeah... as stubbornly independent as my ego would like to be, I gotta admit this input of yours is a good reminder of having taken that kind of wise counsel for granted while I had it.

@josie2214 | Jan. 8, 2026, 6:21 p.m. | Votes: 1 | [ VOTE ]

I think women on average are more hypersensitive to everything, not just microaggressions and subtle signs of disrespect, it's a nervous system thing.. which also means that we have to be more mindful about self-regulation.

Giving people benefit of the doubt is really helpful in a lot of situations, but there needs to be a level of ballance there.. just exactly so as to not end up going nuclear.. :)

That's a punk ass bitch alright. I don't know the age, but sounds rather young...

When I was moving to another country and selling my things there was soo much of this kind of wishy-washy bargaining, people not showing up on time, disrespectful attitudes... And I'm pretty sure you can find similar stories circulating online about crazy experiences people have trying to sell things on FB Market Place, craigslist etc.

Similar mixture of this type of punk-bitchery was also happening when I was an Airbnb host. People would ask for deals, then not respect the clearly-stated rules, come up with dumb excuses. Luckily Airbnb disputes dept is very pro-host and I won every time.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that this happens more often than you think, and its not a reflection of something that you did wrong. But it is a good place to establish some boundaries as a seller. Maybe if you spot two signs of a bad buyer, just tell them you have other inquiries and let them marinate in their Fomo.

Anyway, I don't know anything about snowboarding, but these bindings look pretty dope, I wish you luck in selling them for what they worth, and to an informed buyer.

@rok-sivante | Feb. 5, 2026, 7:22 p.m. | Votes: 1 | [ VOTE ]

they sold fairly quick. and i'm glad the punk didn't get them, as the girl who did was quite stoked. i always like passing on stuff to people who really appreciate it, rather than just selling it. :-)
