Kingfisher are a family of small to medium-size , brightly colored birds in the world. The have a cosmopolitan distribution, with most found outside of America. The are live in forest and feed on terrestrial prey such as insects and fish.

Nice pictures and informative commentary. However, if these are not photos you have taken personally, you need to credit the photos so you’re not accused of plagiarism. If you took them, I recommend you credit yourself and include the type of camera used.
