The importance of Mind

We often underestimate the importance of our mind. But if we really think it, then the mind plays a very important role in our day to day life, because our actions are a direct result of our thoughts. Mahatma Gandhi rightly said, "If we have a negative mind we will have a negative life, and if we have a positive mind then we will have a positive life".

Joyce Meyer, a famous preacher has compared human minds to a battlefield where the mind is constantly in a war with the devil. The devil works hard to defeat us, he knows our weakness, our insecurities, our fear, what bothers us and tries to defeat us by creating fear, suspicion, doubts in our mind. That is why it is very important that we think right. When we begin to feel that the battle of the mind is just too difficult and that we aren't going to make it, we must decide not to quit and choose to think that we can make it. Thoughts are very powerful, that is why our priority should be that we think right because we cannot have a positive life and a negative mind.
