Today I would like to look at 2 Thessalonians 1 verse 7 to 9

7)and He will give relief to you who suffer and to us as well. He will do this when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven with his mighty angels,
8)with a flaming fire, to punish those who reject God and who do not obey the Good News about our Lord Jesus.
9)They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, separated from the presence of the Lord and from his glorious might,

Faithful people who suffer now will receive relief when Jesus return to this earth on judgement day, but those who reject Him will be punished for all eternity.

Whenever I read the word of God and reflect on our life, every day I realize that it is so easy to live by following his word and when we do it life is very simple and beautiful at the same time and we are filled with peace, but it seems that we are a masochist who likes to live in the darkness of ignorance, God allow us to follow his word every day with faith and love.
