Today I would like to look at Romans 5 verse 1
1)Now that we have been put right with God through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
To have peace with God means that we are reconciled with God. This means that there are no hostility between us and God, because sin is not standing between us and God, as Jesus has paid for our sins.
I hope you have a wonderful day.
Soli Deo Gloria
Amen.
The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the reason why we are reconciled with God today.
Jesus paid the price he did not owe, we owed the price we couldn't pay.
All glory to Jesus Christ
Thanks for sharing @rynow
>means that there are no hostility between us and God
The easiest indicator of hostility between us with God, is our state of conscience.
Peace, is when conscience is clear, in whatever we do.
Inspiring, @rynow

Hi @spaminator, I cannot speak for anybody else, but @veejay is following my Daily Scripture posts for long, I don't see his comments as spam.
Keep up the good work!!
The holy, righteous God, cannot be at peace with a sinner, while under the guilt of sin. Justification takes away the guilt, and so makes way for peace. This is through our Lord Jesus Christ; through him as the great Peace-maker, the Mediator between God and man.
Paul sets forth the wonderful blessings that flow from the fact of our justification. So it is almost certain that Paul wrote, âTherefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christâ Thanks for sharing
Because of the universality of sin, the human race is by nature at war against God. Many may feel at peace because they do not comprehend Godâs absolute holiness or their own sinfulness. But because of sin, the wrath of God abides on all who do not believe in and obey Jesus Christ (John 3:36). Thank you for this.
Love the passage. Unless people come to peace with God on His terms, when they die they will face His eternal judgment. They may be the worldâs greatest philanthropists, who have given millions to help the poor. But philanthropy will not atone for their many sins. They may be the nicest, most loving people you could know. But all the niceness and love that anyone can show will not atone for the many sins that we all commit.. We need to be justified by faith.
Lovely passage. From my own understanding, the exhortation is not to attain peace, but retain it. âHold fast that thou hast; let no man take thy crown.â âBeing justified by faithâ cling to your treasure and let nothing rob you of it-âlet us have peace with God.âIt ours as children of God.
Thanks for the word @rynow As believers, we are no longer being alienated from God and exposed to condemnation and wrath no longer, but brought into a state of reconciliation and peace with him. âOur guilty fears are silenced, and we are taught to look up to him with sweet serenity of soul, while we no longer conceive of him as an enemy, but under the endearing character of a Friend and a Father.

It's so good to realize that a blessed change takes place in the sinner's state, when he becomes a true believer, whatever he has been. Being justified by faith he has peace with God. The holy, righteous God, cannot be at peace with a sinner, while under the guilt of sin. Justification takes away the guilt, and so makes way for peace.
