This Saturday started with a light breakfast with my friend at Mie Ayam Popeye, its chicken noddle with vegetables, it was Yummy and delicious especially when we added the chili pickles. Most Indonesians like Chicken Noddle originally from Chinese dishes, but we have many kind of chicken noddles with their own unique differences. We had little chit chat in the morning while enjoying our meal.

It was a very beautiful day, we went home first then planned to go out at 12 PM after Dzuhur Prayer time. We went to a car repair shop to exchange the car plates and as agreed it would take 1.5 hours so we decided to have lunch at Sate Tegal Alit near the repair shop.

We ordered Goat soup, bread, Ice coconut with syrup. It tasted very good and it was our first experience at the restaurant.

After lunch we had a long and deep conversation and did not realize that the time almost two hours passed without any news from the repair shop. It was very sunny day, around 30 degrees celcius and finally we decided to go back to the repair shop, unfortunately the car was still unfinished, so we had to wait again for about 50 minutes. We felt little upset because they had promised it would be finished within 1.5 hours but we ended almost 3 hours in the very hot weather. If they had informed us earlier, we would have gone to the mall or gone home first.

It became a lesson for us and taught us to be patient in life. We can arrange the schedules but we can’t control for what happens in reality.

Before, we had planned to have a movie night but after the long car service, we decided to go to nearest mall which I had just visited yesterday, The Park Mall Sawangan. We walked around the mall and finally it was dinner time so we went to a restaurant called D’Cost. It is a modern restaurant with traditional Indonesian food.

We ordered rice, fish with mango sauce and stir-fried beans. It was highly recommended restaurant, the food was delicious and we could even refill the rice and tea if we wanted. The portions were perfect for both of us. We were very happy and continued walking around some stores to find clothes. My friend bought some clothes for work.

I arrived at 9 PM at home, I felt little bit exhausted but I was grateful spending time with my friend. I have known her for about 28 years and we reconnected last year after being busy with our families and work. Our birthday are almost the same, same age that is why we can still get along until today, even though we have different life stories.

I believe that we meet someone by faith not by an accident, we meet them by resonance. Energy recognizes energy, some people come to our lives not as a destination but as a life lesson that awaken ourselves that we may have forgotten.
