The names could mean the same thing. But when you look at your profile, BLOG means your main posts. POSTS means everything - main posts and reply comments you have made. They're just names, but that's how they're used.

On my opinion, blogging is the same with posting or publishing. For example you are sharing an article, photo's video's, or meme's what you are doing is posting or blogging. Therefore, blog and post has no differences with one another.
