One thing I love about education is that it is the best legacy and this can of a legacy is the one that would always live on. Learning is a continuum and till death, humans would always learn may be through formal education or otherwise.

Another thing is that as good as learning is, it cannot take place in isolation which means, for learning to take place, there must be some factor being put in place and one of those factors is the teacher.

Without the teacher, learning cannot take place and this is because it's the teacher that would teach and explain to the students what they don't actually know which means, it's the teacher that will explain to the students from what they had known which is from the known and to what they had not known which is the unknown.

So, the work of a teacher is complex work, but one thing I have always found worthy is that the teaching profession is a noble one that has its rewards not only in heaven but also on earth.

Having said this, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt which is all about, β€œThe teacher or lecturer I will never forget.”

If there's a teacher or lecturer that I will always remember and thank God for shaping my life, that teacher will be my Agricultural science teacher in the person of, Mr. Adekunle. Mr.Adekunle saw in me what other teachers did not see in me and when I knew nothing as a poor student in class, he kept on encouraging and refused to be like others who I would not like to tell their stories today.

With his attitude and care for me, he made me improve not only in his subject but in other subjects as his words of encouragement did the magic in me. He was the one who told me he was once a slow learner like me, but that when he picked up, he was just flying and could not be stopped by his contemporaries.

When I heard this, I gained my confidence back and with the help of God through him, I was able to rediscover myself and where my strength lies in and that is how I became the best not only in the school examination but also in the external examination.

I later studied the same course he studied in the university which Agricultural extension and with that, I have been able to live fine and achieve my dream of becoming great in life.

Mr. Adekunle is my role model and he's more than a teacher to me, I will never forget him in my life and will always remember him for transforming my life.

Thanks for reading.

The picture is mine.

That's really kind of Mr Adekunle for not looking down on you. People like them will never be forgotten because of how they show love to their students and always encourage then unlike the other teachers.

I think your teacher, Mr. Adekunle, is God-sent. He never overlooked your situation and even shared his own experiences to encourage you. A teacher like him is very hard to forget.
