It is planted early raining season for the rain water to help it germinate. The sterm is cut and buried in the soil.. weeding is done to enable it grow.

When harvested, It is for in processing garri, fufu and nyan ekpang, asa iwa, this are ibibio native delicacies.

Tho cassava contains Caborhydrate when taken too much you need to drink something bitter to balance up.
