Mindy's wedding to Luther was held in a huge cathedral. The pews were arranged in five sections, forming a sort of semi-circle facing the altar. The organ was located in the balcony in the back, but the pipes were all arranged in the front. Stained glass windows lined both sides of the nave. It was altogether a beautiful place, especially with the added flowers and ribbons and bows that were part of the wedding decor.
The guests arrived, and were seated. The organist began to play the processional music for the bridesmaids and the groomsmen. Then the music changed, and it was time for Mindy to come from a side room and make her grand entrance. One of the ushers opened a door, and she stepped into the nave.
But where was the red carpet she was supposed to walk down? Oh no! "It's in the other aisle," whispered the embarrassed usher, who whisked her back out into the narthex and opened the correct door, in the CENTER of the nave.
Luther breathed a sigh of relief as Mindy made her second entrance. For just a few seconds, he thought she had changed her mind and fled.
