Sleep is fundamentally important for all of our bodies and the amount of sleep that you need is unique to each person. However; 7 hours is the minimum recommended hours necessary for your body to rest and feel re-charged. As I grow a little older, I am noticing that many people have been telling me that they are having difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep.
Simple Sleep Tips:
Prayer.
Yoga is wonderful way to begin and end your day.
Epson salt bath and the magnesium helps soothe sore muscles and enhance relaxation.
Listening to music quietly to help unwind.
Keep a bedtime schedule and the routine should be very similar during the weekdays and weekends.
Exercise during the day.
Keep electronics at bay before sleeping and keep them in a separate room so you sleep away from wifi.
Avoid drinking caffeine or alcohol.
Drink chamomile tea.
Lavender essential oil.
Read a good book.
Begin and end the day writing and expressing your gratitudes.
