A collection of flowers from my garden

Happy to post a garden journal for the community. These are few of my captures for the garden community for the garden journal. If you would like to be a part f this interesting contest, kindly click this link

They were taken at different intervals of time within these two months. Few of them are still flowering, despite the rainy weather condition.

Happiness has no bounds, when our day starts with a glance over our garden with attractive flowers. Its a psychology that you remain happy and is at peace, by spending more time in the garden.

**Getting our lawn grass prepared in a fertilized basin **

The sudden change of climate from humidity to cold weather has disturbed the routine life of plants. Due to over flow of water, the flowers are getting decayed very fast, especially, the potted ones. These uusally stay fresh atleast for a week.

**The Soursop **

Not sure, how many of you are aware of the benefits of these fruit. This looks same as the custard apple, but with few seeds. The pulp is very sweet in summer and a sweet n sour taste in winter, probably due to more rain. **This is called Soursop with spikes in the outer skin"".

The papayas

Plantain - Both these shots were taken from the balcony, amidst heavy rain

These were today morning's shot, taken from my balcony - Papaya and the Plantain. As the rain was continuous, the leaves and fruits were more bright and clear with its natural colours.

Mangoes and a whole plantain from our land. As the mangoes were innumerable, we decided to ripe them and give it to the neighbors. My husband suggested the best way to ripen them, is by placing them in an open area were the sunlight strikes them. Two days was more than enough. On the third day we distributed to our neighbours. Neighbour's happy, so were we.

So this was just a small garden tour of my present garden. Hope you enjoyes it.
