This time I want to show you a little bit about my creative process when making a beat.
This beat will be produced for a trap song that will be made for the rap group of Maracay called "Empireo" this group has 2 years of experience and consists of five local rappers who have the distinction of being freestylers besides composing their own songs, in Empireo I participate as a music producer and audiovisual producer I have also participated with them doing musical combinations among other things. The group has a very interesting conceptual proposal that will please rap lovers, here I will leave the links to their social networks to know a little more about this good project:

Before starting with the production of the beat I had to eat so much organization gave me appetite but already in my mind I was thinking a little about the style of this beat.
The DAW I worked with is called Ableton live, there I started recording the harmonic base that for me is what gives sense and structure to what will come later and then I started to generate some characteristic melodies for my beat. These melodies are known as hooks and are those musical motifs that catch the listener's attention, they are very important.
The drums and bass is the last thing I usually work on in terms of the layout of the elements of my beat and I do it by drawing the beats with the pencil tool that allows me a greater rhythmic precision so necessary in these musical genres.
Thus, I left the bases of what will be my beat. Keyboards, bass and drums, I start to equalize and level the volumes to have a better reference and prepare the ground for the recording of the vocals, but I'll show you that in another video.
The tools I used for the creation of this beat were the Ableton Live 10 Suit software, a Casio keyboard that I used to record some organs and an Alesis Q 25 Controller with which I made the melodies and some sounds that I added to the beat, the video was made with a Tecno Camon 18 P phone and the video editing was done with Adobe Premier Pro 2020.

En esta oportunidad quiero mostrarles un poco acerca de mi proceso creativo a la hora de hacer un beat.
Este beat será producido para una canción de trap que se realizará para la agrupación de rap de maracay llamada “Empireo” esta agrupación tiene 2 años de trayectoria y está conformada por cinco raperos de la localidad que tienen la particularidad de ser freestylers además de componer sus propios temas, en Empireo yo participo como productor musical y productor audiovisual también he participado con ellos haciendo combinaciones musicales entre otras cosas. Antes de comenzar con la producción del beat tuve que comer tanta organización me dio apetito pero ya en mi mente venia pensando un poco acerca del estilo de este beat .
El DAW con el que trabajé se llama Ableton live allí comencé grabando la base armónica que para mi es lo que le da sentido y estructura a lo que vendrá después y luego paso a generar algunas melodías características para mi beat. Estas melodías se les conoce como hook y son esos motivos musicales que llaman la atención de quien escucha, son muy importantes.
La batería y bajo es lo último que suelo trabajar en cuanto a la maquetación de los elementos de mi beat y lo hago dibujando los golpes con la herramienta del lápiz que me permite una mayor precisión rítmica tan necesaria en estos géneros musicales.
Así pues, dejé las bases de lo que será mi beat. Teclados bajo y batería, comienzo a ecualizar y nivelar los volúmenes para tener una mejor referencia y preparar el terreno para la grabación de las voces, pero eso se los muestro en otro video.
Las herramientas que utilicé para la creación de este beat fueron el software Ableton Live 10 Suit, un teclado Casio que utilicé para grabar unos órganos y un Controlador Alesis Q 25 con el que realicé las melodías y algunos sonidos que agregué al beat, el video fue realizado con un teléfono maraca Tecno Modelo Camon 18 P y la edición de video fue realizada con Adobe Premier Pro 2020.
