Oh, well i haven't been very pro active to share it too much outside of steemit, i did try once or twice but... Seems like my work isn't really the bee's knee for people. Even tho i put a lot of passion into it... A little bit disappointed in myself then... I thought the idea was good, maybe i don't have the marketting and pr skills needed to promote this kind of work or i couldn't put in words and in picture what i envision for the game i'm working on.

I don't care, will keep working on it until it's well fleshed out and people understand how cool and funny it will be.

I can only use my words as art, I am not even sure how to format my posts correctly, hence the scruffiness in many of them...I have always wanted to be able to draw, paint, sculpt, but alas it was not to be so I must work with the only thing I can to be even remotely creative.

But let me assure you that in the world we live in today, your skill is a lot more transferable (and potentially profitable, if ya just keep on keeping on) than mine will ever be! I keep looking into tutorials to learn what you do...waaaay beyond me.

There is some incredible talent here, some didn't even make the finalists pool that maybe should have, that is the sad part of the narrowing down/selection process. Yet you made my number 4 spot in the voting. Some people "get it" some don't, art is always subjective.

Hahahahah! The undercover hippy! You would not believe the story behind how I discovered him.
I was at work in a broken down car we use as a prop, and I noticed a festival pass for the undercover hippy at Glastonbury. I wondered what it was for months. I walked into my bands kitchen, they had a sticker on their washing machine. I asked what it was, they said a band, so I googled it and found out I knew that song and had been looking for it for years!
So I contacted him and asked him how tf his car ended up in my work place (miles from where he's based). he put a Facebook post out, and it turns out a band he played with, their guitarist worked for us and gave us the car, and the band she's in, I'm going to Portugal with the frontman. it's a small world, it's crazy how it all linked together

CRAZY indeed, but things like that make me wonder if something else is at work...

Destiny, fate, coincidence, not sure what to name it, but I think many times things happen for a very distinct and specific reason.

All of the works are very outstanding! but since the contest theme is to promote steemit to other social meida site, lets be technical, I believe that most of the people don't know Steemit (other social media sites). Everyone had a awesome creativity, but the question is, does their work gives additional information or idea what the artist is trying to promote by just seeing it at first glance? So that's the basis of my judgement, and I see it from entry #00.1 he does not only did it with awesome illustration but added it with additional information through text! I believe that's the awesome way of promoting something, to encourage people to join you by making them curious about the thing you are promoting, which is present in entry #0.01 the line "BLOG, POST, VOTE, EARN" is great tagline to encourage people to participate and join the community. After that we'll probably take a little break from this size of an initiative, focus a bit on regular content, maybe do a couple smaller ones, and gear up for the next cause.

Thank you, @mizo. We know what you mean. Things certainly do seem to lean a bit towards a "rich/poor" divide. Whales emerge almost as gatekeepers of a have/have-not community. Steemit could seek to open the coffers and improve this system in some way. For instance, even with team initiatives like this that are decently promoted and receive a fair amount of activity and up-votes, gaining steem dollars is surprisingly like pulling teeth to a degree. But, gains are being mad and we see them within members of this arts/creative sciences community.

We hope steemit is truly desirable establish such promise and potential as advertised. While we wouldn't describe our role as "selfless", we certainly do pursue a "win-win" approach. These boards provide a business opportunity for every poster. We proceed in the idea that every successful laborer is worthy of reward within a "win-win" environment. Again, hopefully steemit is able to truly establish such promise and potential. And hopefully we can all continue to do our part as we all are in advancing steemit with this promotion.

Time will tell won't it?

I have made connections here and followed people that have led me to Discord groups, offline groups and...Yes, even a facebook group HAHA! I now attend an almost daily poetry class. I am having the time of my life on Steemit! Remember the purpose of the contest? Of course you do!

Find creative ways of bringing new members to Steemit through art. What I'm about to tell you is a slightly irrelevant point to mention, but in the spirit of the contest...I will.

So today I went back to work after 14 days off when I got to fully explore Steemit, it was heaven. My friend from work @father2b joined a few weeks back as I enthusiastically told him how awesome it is, as I mentioned our shift pattern (rota) meant we have both had 14 days off

On our work-breaks today we spoke (loudly and enthusiastically) about Steemit, anybody who was standing within 10 paces of us asked...

This happened all day when we were working too, (or talking haha.) When we are enthusiastic, others are naturally curious and want to feel passionate about something too, anything that breaks the mundane nature of life. We loudly discussed our ideas for Steemit, the skills we want to learn to succeed here...blah...blah...blah!

Wow! I go on and on and on, right?
