yeah the account creation problem was first with inleo , I don't see hivewatchers mention that in his post if that is still a problem or not.
Maybe a we should aply a cooldown time in between creating an account , if the email adress is from the same domain ?

I don't know the situation with InLeo, but there have been various options for free accounts. Once someone has an account they can do what they want, so we need to be careful.

I was excited before as a blockchain-based social media was a great idea to me; however, it has not attracted as much attention as we had hoped over the years. Let's see...

It has always been up to all of us to promote it, but too many people just chased their own earnings. That is self-defeating. You need an audience and not just creators.

No doubt the price of HIVE will fall, not only HIVE but the price of all major coins follow BTC and ETH mainly. Almost all coins moves somewhat in the same direction. Ofcourse there are a few coins who are green even when the whole market is red, but isn't it obvious that there are gonna be some exceptions ?

Yes, but what decides if they go up or down? Obvious a lot are just about hype, but Hive has utility. I think it's okay if a few die off as there are too many.

Gone are the days, when you would invite friends and family around for the evening, boot up the slide projector and bore the bollox off everyone for hours showing ones holiday slides.

As I do not use social media this is the only place anyone can see the images I choose to display, so none of my family have even seen them! This account is not going to make any money in my lifetime, so it is a useful repository for me. The current price is two to three times higher than it was when I took a break from the blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Having just returned, I feel more at home now that I understand it better.

I have given up on Medium completely. Although earning isn't my main goal, I'm lucky if I get $0.02 per story.

Substack is good, but the authors who do best are those who write about earning on Substack.

I like that on Hive most people are not talking about the platform all the time, but then you can earn well if you do.

People have been discussing the DHF and also the basic issues with the Hive name. As I said, Keychain are looking to be self-funding soon, but other projects also have to justify what they get. That's out of my hands.
