A lot of people on my island still use poison like Roundup to kill weeds in their gardens. What they don't realise is that killing weeds, also means killing bees and butterflies and the bugs that are food for the birds. Killing weeds kills a whole invisible habitat that is part of nature.
The birds need bugs for food we need bees to pollinate our food. The bats eat the mosquitos.
When people move to the tropics they want the beach a luxury home with a pool but the tropics in all essence they don't want.
My garden is poison free. I grow food for my chickens and for myself. I need the bees to pollinate my flowers and mosquitos stay away because of my citrus plants.
Everything that grows in my garden gets a fair chance. Like this beautiful wild passion flower.
A gift of nature. Considered a weed by some but to me a beautiful treasure with macnificent value .
