HI all
This is suny. I am from India, but currently living in Sydney, Australia for last couple of years (at least 8-9 months every year)working as a marketing professional for an India based company. So I have an advantage of having two sets of cultural, demographic and social backgrounds.

After reading constantly in different forums from fellow members, writers and photographers like Oscar at different writing sites I finally decided to join steemit last month. I was a bit surprised when he said that he managed all of $400 within few weeks by posting his images on this site.
The image below was taken a couple of days before

I know he can do it since he is a genius photographer who plays with images.
I am sure that steemit will encourage me polishing me my writing and photography skills. I have so far posted one post having an image of a plant with wonderful flowers which I clicked only yesterday on my trip to, “The Great River Walk” in Blue Mountains near Sydney.
I am not ashamed of the fact that I know almost nothing about Steemit but I make a promise that I will soon learn all the ropes and tricks of the trades in the company of so knowledgeable members on this site. I have yet to learn the art of making Steem and increase my “Steem Power” (if that’s the right word).
Finally, I have been on the internet for years (9 to be precise) and in the habit of following members but I was taken aback when I read a senior member suggesting not to do it. Well it sounded a bit awkward for a moment but I gave it another thought and yes, he had a point.
