lol no, water is not wet. Water makes things wet so therefore, things are wet and water is just water.

What about the molecules in the water? Can they get wet? If so, does that make water wet?

The water molecules come together or bond, but never touch. I'm no expert but I think if you forced them to touch, they wouldn't get wet, you'd get a really big explosion, or at least some energy.
