MY PLANTING LIFEHACKS

My tomato seedlings have moved to my garden! it's the second tomatoe planting of this May (the first was made 2 weeks before). Seeds were planted not simultaneously, that's why seedlings were growing with different speed.

Now all my tomatoes are in the garden already. I've got 4 rows of them, totally about 40 pieces, and I hope all of them will show me a good harvest;)

This planting was special for me because of 2 reasons:

1) I made it totally by myself

2) I used natural fertilizers

I've read much gardening information this year when I started to plant my seedling, and now I try to involve it into my planting process;)

So I added 2 components into the soil before putting my seedlings there - ash + bread.

Ash is a popular fertilizer for many plants, but bread? why? I was puzzled much at first but there are many people who are fond of this method - they all say yeast are super useful for garden and vegetables, and we can use both liquid yeast or just bread. I decided to try both of this methods, bread at first.

Let's see what results we'll have soon;)

I try about using ash, but using bread is something new to me. It will be interesting to see how your tomatoes respond to it.

Yes, ash is good for seedlings, of course only wood ash. We water our seedlings with yeast, a growth stimulator.
And tomatoes can be planted deeper into the ground or you can lay them down because they tend to develop adventitious roots

eggshells yeah I've read about it - what do you do with them? do you use vinegar?

I read we have to soak eggshells in vinegar for some days and then add this liquid into the water. Just solid eggshels are good as well?
