I remember it like it was yesterday. Even though I'm european , I had a friend in the us call me to turn on the news.. and then time stood still for a few hours while I was stuck to the TV on cnn. I couldn't believe it was real... I didn't want to believe.
Then I read 2 books on the events and watched all the documentaries, including The Jumpers... a piece of me died with that.
Unfortunately that was only the beginning of modern day terrorist attacks .

That was one thing I remember more than anything, the jumpers. so sad :(

You have said it all @teamsteem, one of those who really researched themselves and showing the culprits to the world. Having said that, whoever did this doesn't belong to any religion or race. Why would a normal person kill thousands of people? Being a Muslim, I was always taught to be nice with non Muslims. Infact, I have more non Muslims friends than Muslims and we live like brothers here in Pakistan.
I was actually impressed when Americans came out on streets to protest against the war on Afghanistan and Iraq, it showed the world that people of America can't be made fool!
Killing one person is actually like killing the whole humanity and that's what I believe. Can't believe that politicians could kill anyone just to get money and power. People are innocent and they are being controlled!

i support your viewpoint and infact i believe that there may not be complete reality with what religion do culprits belong to.. i mean have anyone given a thought that from how long those culprits have been taught for all such wrong acts... and when they are too small they may not be even knowing the meaning of the term religion... then how can religion be even talked about under such matter... i am a non muslim and i have muslim friends in here India too and i must say my dear that muslims are so true by heart that i have learnt alot of things from my friends... We should not fool ourselves though. The current model has existed for thousands of years. Those who benefit from it will not go quietly into the night. They would rather cull the herd and reset everything.

I do not believe that religion can be anyone's excuse for murder. I am never for war or the further loss of life. I know quite a few Muslims, and never have they treated me in any other way than with respect, and I them. We must all learn to respect that we have different beliefs. I taught my children that respect for people from all walks of life is what makes the world a better place.

My son's best friend signed up for the US Army right out of high school because the family couldn't afford college. He saw it as his only opportunity to further himself. Sadly, he was killed by an RPG on Memorial Day in Afghanistan a few years ago. My son didn't hate the people that killed his best friend. He couldn't understand why our nation was still involved so many years later in other's affairs. He was only a small boy when 9/11 happened. To this day he still treats people from all walks of life as he was raised to, with respect.

I remember standing in my kitchen, watching the first tower burn... and listening to to the report that an airplane had crashed into the tower. Seemed so odd. Then came a second plane... followed by the "goosebumpy" sensation at the thought that I was witnessing the start of World War III-- live.

We were all watching... mesmerized. And then I distinctly remember my first sensation that something was "fishy," when WTC-7 fell. I don't know a LOT about civil engineering and architecture... but it seemed impossible. I remember thinking that it was a "very well orchestrated attack" because the "terrorists" had also managed to get bombs inside WTC-7, and set them to detonate in connection with the planes.

It just never fit.

All these years later... the "answer" that seems most likely to me remains that "someone" in government-- US or global-- observed that the US (and world population) wasn't "afraid enough" anymore. The Berlin Wall had fallen. Communism in Eastern Europe ended. There was no more "red menace" to scare people...

.... and people HAVE to be scared in order to be easily controlled. If people are content and happy, they are far more difficult to manipulate and control. And so-- even though there was little doubt that extremist terrorism EXISTED-- a new "unseen menace" had to be created... or the broader population might become too difficult to control.

I lived up there when the attacks happened. My father in laws construction company was one of the first to start removing debris to staten and Long Island where they had people sifting through it looking for body parts.
My opinion by looking at Wtc7 and the way BBC covered it 20 min before it colopased is that, that building was definitely an inside job. As far as the towers I just have to say we found the passport of one of the highjackers in pristine condition C'mon!

I work in steel and there is a lot of compelling evidence here, but I know new sky scrapers are being built with more concrete and less steel for the very reason of what happened on 9/11. Very in depth report and we all remember where we were that terrible day and what we were doing.

I was in my office far away from NYC. My sister called and asked if everything was o.k . She knew I had children in NYC and that my son worked in the financial district.

I began to call and try to locate them. For a while, which seemed like an eternity, we could not locate my son. His service said that he had gone to one of his client's in the WTC and she said she prayed he wasn't still there. The time seemed to stand still and it seemed forever before my daughter called and said that she had gotten my son on his cell as he was running from the area. Thank God for that but so many friends and acquaintacies lost.

What a horrible day for the USA, the world and humanity as a whole. We have t do better!

My first thoughts when the footage came on tv was that it was fake. Like a sf movie.

It was so surreal. It was scary. And when the other planes crashed in Shanksville and at the Pentagon it became scarier.

This is the US... stuff like this doesn't happen here... so many jumbled thoughts.

I try not to think about it and the various theories, but something has never felt right.

But it's time to go on, get over it and get on with life.

Very interesting piece. I remember that day as I remember John Kennedy's assassination, both events etched in my mind. Very, very sad and frankly, no matter how many theories and evidence you have, I don't think it will really change much of what governments do worldwide. That's also sad. But Steemit is good and isn't sad. it just highlights things we have to think about and to get people thinking is good. Whether they think positive or not is their prerogative, what I personally hope is that Steemians are sensible, fun, good humoured and thoughtful people who care for others. Don't disappoint me!

Sometimes technical explanations are hard to follow if you're not an expert, but I guess anyone can understand how incredibly convenient it was for the authorities to find passports of the highjackers, letters, plans, just about everything needed to 'explain' to the great public 'who did it'?
The biggest fail of that otherwise brilliantly executed operation was not 'finding' in the terrorists' lost luggage some love letters between bin Laden and Saddam Hussein. Because of that failure it took them 18 months to make a convincing case for the war in Iraq.

What a compilation of information!

I recall exactly where I was when this all unfolded. I had just returned home from dropping my kids off at school. I tuned into CNN as I did every morning, and sat my daughter at the kitchen bar with her morning yogurt.

I like many others sat glued to my TV for weeks on end praying for survivors to be found. I myself was an emotional wreck as I could feel the pain this had caused so many. It was a time in American history that will never be forgotten. Hopefully, someday we will all know the full truth. The victims families deserve nothing less than honesty.

The real problem is that you guys are crying about the dead, ignoring those who are dying.

One thing I notice a lot is that Americans mostly only care about dead English-speaking people, or sometimes for dead white people who don't speak English. Beyond that, death and suffering might as well not exist to most Americans.

Millions have died as a result of the events of 9/11. Most of our military 'engagements' are due to this event.

Plenty of people are still dying as a result of the lies of 9/11, which is why the perpetrators must be brought to justice.

This is a false equivalency. Two national powers with a formally declared state of war exchanging bombs with primarily military targets is one thing.

I put 2 and 2 together that same day based on some military preparations we were doing. Upon my discharge, I described my self as a truther. I was in 7th grade Spanish class when the classroom TV's were turned on and televised what was happening to a room of naive, sheltered, confused children. It was the first time I remember being fearful of my "normal" surroundings and it left a pretty huge impression. Years later, I still find myself being confused and somewhat fearful of my "normal" surroundings and growing more so everyday.

Wow, after standing in silence today not far from the placque that contains the names of the crew members who died during 911, I would not have thought I would read something like this post about 11 Sep. I find the alledged evidence highly left-wing and highly opinionated based only on other opinions. The goal here misses me.

Really, a poll? When I think of polls, Huffington Post showed Hillary winning the presidency 98% to 2% the day before the electiion. Using a poll to support your view doesn't set well with me. I can tell by your research that you had a specific goal in mind. I would rather read facts than opinions on such a senstive subject as 9-11.

Perhaps, maybe, I'm being too sensitive. When you visit the World Trade Center Museum and you see that large chunk of aircraft, my name has been inside that aircraft more than once. And the flight attendant on that aircraft that made a phone call prior to hitting the building, she was talking to a man I know well.

Why not just recoginize today as a tragedy? More importantly is understanding that those who lost loved ones have a hole that will never be filled. One can only understand that feeling if they have the same hole in their heart personally.

If you want to disproved the peer-reviewed studies that have proven the official story was bogus you are welcome to do so.

Some of the persons who lost family member have come out publicly stating the official story doesn't hold up.

Also one poll lead toward more people believing in the official story and the other one lean a bit toward being open to other possibilities. These polls I mentioned aren't the main point of the post.

Until a certain time in history they commented that they were terrorist attacks, but later they said that it would be impossible for two planes to do that whole damage and that the towers fell very fast, and that yes the USA itself, they put explosives. But why would the US do so with so many innocents? Could not it be somebody who got gain money to put explosives?

A very comprehensive and well-documented article. Kudos. The dead give away that this was a fabricated attack, is building 7. It wasn't even hit!!! They forgot to send a make-believe plane there. So disgusting. Just horrific.

I remember this day very good. I have been in the United States as a tourist. We have been driving around with a motorhome, enjoying the wonders of nature. On this day we saw the flag on half at a ranger station and did not know why. So we asked and we could not believe what we heard. It seemed there was a nation in shock. But very soon we heard people say : United we stand!! That was impressing. It was nearly at the end of our vacation and all the airports were closed for a few days. Eventually we got our flight from Denver to Germany back home. So I did not only see it on TV as most people outside US did, I was there and so I will never forget what happened, what I felt and how scaring it was . Hope my English was good enough for what I wanted to say.

I was fairly young and naive when I saw the towers fall on TV. Intuitively, it looked like a demolition because I haven't seen the planes hit. And I was never into "conspiracies" then. Years later, I went down the rabbit hole. And there were literally so many holes in the official story (no pun intended) especially with WTC Building 7, that I am inclined to believe it was a black flag operation.

I always thought that someone with no prejudice like young people could see the collapse for the control demolitions that they were even without any analysis just by looking at the video. Now when I look at the video I can clearly see why the gravity lead collapse doesn't make sense and why some people knew about this the very first day or as they saw the collapse happen.

I have always said this is the smoking gun. Options trading prior to the incident was (iirc), 4-5 standard deviations outside the norm.

This is proof positive (mathematically) that various parties had foreknowledge of the event. More investigation should have been done into this at the time.

Teamsteem, have you come across any claims/reports of a SAM-site shutdown at the Pentagon on 9/11? I have heard claims that, against Pentagon SOP, all of the SAM sites on top were "turned off for maintenance / 'no listed reason'". This would have rendered all the anti-air defense ineffective.

I haven't been able to source any corroborating information on this topic. It may be hearsay.

I was on the top of the WTC only two weeks before they went down at precisely the same time in morning when they hit. I took many rolls of photos. I look at them now and it's an eerie feeling.

It is strange but the day when that incidence took place , I was in an internet cafe talking to my very good friend , who was on the third floor of world trade center. As usual we were chatting , unknowingly that some drastic history is about to be made in a while or so. All of a sudden , I stopped getting replies from her thinking she might got busy. Soon, the news were spread about 9/11 like a wildfire and it was so heartfelt , was so sad as thought its kind of impossible to have her alive. Luckily , she survived when I had her online after a year or so , almost. Dreadful incidence it was , sure is some true evaluation/analysis of 9/11 be taken. As there is always a new angle , a new perspective. Your article reminded me of that horrible day , though was far away yet it had me disturbed for quite some time like hell.

It is a very tragic event for everyone. More so for some. I'm glad your friend survived.

Our prayers still go out to the families and friends of the deceased. It was an unfortunate incident but after all these years america should focus on tackling the menace of global terrorism rather than blabbering stuff on twitter. It is clear from your research and finding that the truth about the incident of WTC was not said the way it was. This is a clear indication that people in-charge or people at the helm of affairs of revealing the truth chose to hide the truth.

It is worth adding another official doubter on the record is the current President of the United States.
That is not a small point.
Whatever you think of Mr Trump, as a very experienced property investment billionaire, he has added his own points of dissention as an expert of sorts of details in the official story.
Trump was saying (I think before another expert, Lear, has been more recently saying also) that the thickness of steel on the Twin Towers simply could never have admitted plames without a great deal of wreckage rebounding.
(Trump also knows planes, of course, as well as skyscrapers and what both are made of - long involved in the personalisation and intimate construction details of both. Probably he knows the price per weight of each material minutely and the charcteristics and potential of each, advised by illustrious professionals. As it is his bread and butter.)

If I remember, I think Trump said that at least half an airplane hitting that thickness of steel, which the Twin Towers' incredible outer cage had, could not penetrate and would be torn up as wreckage falling outside the buldings.

Nice post @teamsteem. 911 tragedy has too many mistery. If I read, listen, and watch from any media there is some aireplane hit that building. Some body tells us they are terrorists. But there are too many videos recorded and spread across many media including youtube, no plane at the time of the explosion. I'm not sure which one is right?

Thank you for the time you spent tracking all this well documented information. 9-11 is history, the ugly face of history. Many innocent people died from this conspiracy and a lot of money was spent to make a word famous: "terrorism." As you said it, even the useless early investigation got so much money, that we have to say: why that money was not given to the victims and their relatives instead to coveraged burocracy. And we have to get to concensus: is that the American way of doing things?

9-11 is like a history that repeats and repeats. In 1898, there was an explosion in Havana. The case involved a ship by the name of "Maine" from USA. USA blamed the explotion on the Spaniards, and took this, let's say "small explotion," to enter in the Spanish-American war. This was the beginning of imperialism, which is not taking over the region, but making the region do what ever USA wants, by means of corruption. That's why I think 9-11 repeats. It is a reflexion of other episodes from the past. But what it is unique about 9-11 is that those who have been doing this for centuries, dared to do it inside the USA to start a war against "terrorism" (scaring people and getting an excuse to budget or spend so much money to avoid terrorism instead of giving that money to the needed)and find an excuse to declare a war in the Middle East, which is more a petroleum issue than anything else. But why the Twin Buildings? What did they have there? That's another issue to discuss. What did they want to destroy?

And although we try to find more information against the doers, nobody is going to be punishing them because, unfortunately, that's the way it is. Those are the untouchable people. Nobody is going to do anything against them.

No matter what your views on how this happened, it happened. SO many people, innocent people, lost their lives. People lost families. Well written and resteemed. Sending love out to all those still hurting.x

Its a big loss to humanity! FOLLOW THE MONEY!

Do you even know for how many generations they built what is happening worldwide right now and will for so many years in advance? When you build something, you build for it to last. Every law inside your country is self renovating. It can change the name, but for many years to come it will not change the purpose. Unless, you start with one generation. And after that, generation after generation could make some difference. Human beings often talk about that how much time do they have to do some particular thing, but you do not have time. All you have is now. So, what you choose to do now will relate you to the future or something bigger, very often to something you did not expect. And that is why your life is so unpredictable. Not boring, not short. When someone plays with you, you accept the game, no matter how stupid at the time you will look. You, then, learn to use the opposition game in your own advance. Don't ever let anyone to control you, because you are not created of control, but of what you are within!

Pretty telling that if you point out the tragedy of 9/11 and show some emotion towards the event you lived miles from, your called a "baby" by non-Americans. Like every American is too stupid to understand what "blowback" is or that the United States Government commits a 9/11 every week/month for it's imperialist gains.

Being angry about 9/11 is because we lost friends and relatives because of our government's policies overseas. Exposing the truth is for our fellow Americans who haven't figured this out yet.

Personally, I feel that you're worst than worthless if you can play keyboard tough guy and insult people for focusing on a national tragedy. You're a simple-minded person also, not too deep. If you think Americans are fully on board with the Empire, than you're being intellectually lazy, or you come from some deeply statist country where the majority of people see the government as God. Like the Soviet Union or Communist Asia for example.

Thanks for helping to expose this information about 9/11. It can be very hard to swallow for many Americans. When I first heard someone say 9/11 was not as it seemed, I wouldn't hear it. The idea was so crazy to me. But now I 100% believe it was an inside job done by the U.S. government.

It's very sad but thousands of people die from starvation every day and we don't care because they are not the "we" you talk about in this post. That's a problem.

Lookong back at 9/11 a few years down the road. I could see at a really young age somethong wasnt quite right with it. Finally when I got older I learned just how much was wrong with it. From tower 7 to how much Mr. Silverstein made from his insurance claim to finding out what kind of info was stored in building 7. None of it adds up to any critical thinker. To think our own government or....US intrest of some sort let it happen is a staunh reminder not everything is as it seems.

It absolutly astounds me how many people still go with the offical story......the powers that be sure have dumbed us down well.
