Hi everyone! I haven't been updated with the steem/hive stuff and I'm a bit confused now. I don't know how things work anymore, I just posted something on steemit earlier, but it doesn't seem to appear here, so I guess there's a difference.

Anyway, I just wanna be active on social media again (but not on the mainstream ones).

Hope I'll be able to figure things out easily.

Hive is a separate chain. Things you write on steem will not appear here and vice versa. Otherwise, Hive works pretty much exactly the same.

Regarding the functionality, as @greddyforce already told you, things on Hive work pretty much the same as they did or still do on Steem.
However, I'm sure you'll remind yourself quickly on how things work and be back in "saddle". 🙂
