So-called "decentralized" social media are hooping and hollering over fugazi. Their breakthrough is Steems rear view mirror!
What has steem done for you?
Have you met some awesome people who have changed your life?
Have you earned some rewards on a post, and maybe bought something useful/cool with the money? (photos please!)
Has Steem been useful as a foundation for you to build an online profile that can never be taken from you?
I want to take these real-life testimonies and blast them all over the internet!
Make a post and use the hashtag #GratitudeChallenge and tag three friends to participate!
I tag @acidyo @guiltyparties @exyle
I will be giving out upvotes all next week for people sharing their Steem Testimony!
For me, I'm grateful that Steem has offered a home free of censorship. Steems technology allows me to send value across the world, for free, in three seconds, without permission. I have earned more money on Steem then any other social platform, by a mile. Steem has changed the way I see potential in everything I do. It has allowed me to help build projects like https://3speak.online/, and the community is nothing short of amazing! Most of all, I'm grateful Steem has given me and the world opportunity. It's up to us how we use our newly found powers!
Back in late 2016, I joined Steem after watching a vid from @highimpactflix. I was enamored by the potential of a social media blockchain.
I later learned it wasn't all 🌞 and 🌈 s and I later found my purpose striving against the corrupt. SFR was and is my incubator and through it I have matured.
Bear in my this was after my time in service in the Corps which also served to build my character but not so smooth around the edges. I'm still a bit jagged at times but I am becoming more adept at my expression within the realm of social media.
Now, I suspect the SFR and and Steem may be but a stop on my journey but I will never forget the community and what we have accomplished together.✌️
I'm not saying I'm done but my morale is low so I may just take a break. I probably need it.
Maybe, I'll work on my subs on @dtube. I'm a big fan of free speech advocacy as an up and coming conservative testing my limits in social media.
But I don't think I had enough subs to meet the stringent requirements of @threespeak but am assured it was nothing personal.
Oh, this is a very close to home topic. I don't even know where to begin.
First of all, I never really thought I'd ever be comfortable infront of a camera. Over an year later, Steem has helped me get out of my comfort zone & currently daily vlogs. As a result of getting out of my comfort zone, I have gotten amazing support that has enabled me to Steem Fulltime , making a living doing what I love the most.
I started out with a very crappy phone, an year later I bought a Camera, A laptop , & Some Other vlogging equipment to better my content quality. Hopefully, In November, I will make it to Steemfest with my Steem earnings & Meet some amazing community members like yourself :))))
