Lost opportunies

Greetings dear friend hope you all are doing great, thank you for stopping by my blog.
Mind of a child is what I titled my story for this week topic because I really mess up back then, and anytime I remember I always feel like beating myself or even more, but then at the same time, I was just a young adult then didn't really know much about life. So many opportunities have come my way, but this particular one is something I still regret not making use of. I have somehow shared this story before, but not in this community and i could like to share it with you again . So back then while in school, I think in my year two, I was offered a police job. Like, the opportunity was one hand; it was a sure thing, but guess what? I turned it down without even informing my family.

The stupid reason I had then was that I was too young to work. Imagine this kind of childish mentality I had. That was how everything just passed me. The man gave someone else the slot. The truth is I still regret that decision so much, but at the end of the day, there is always a lesson to learn, and one of the important lessons I learned about this mistake of mine was that no matter what, never make decisions in a hurry.

Take your time; seek advice if possible; talk to family; get their opinions and then work on it, because anyone I tell this story to always tells me that I made a great mistake by not accepting such opportunities. I could still be going to school and work at the same time; it wouldn't be easy, but at the end I could have enjoyed more, because promotion will definitely come.
