We went on a holiday to Zakynthos Greece and did some volunteer work for the stray dogs on Zakynthos. The local organisation "Zante Strays" is doing a great job and we were proud to help them out. The strays dogs are a big problem on Zakynthos so if you can please donate to the organisation and when on Zakynthos pay them a visit. The dogs love your attention.

oh dear @timroijers your video is great! zante is a beautiful island, the views you have taken are breathtaking :-)) I want to go! and I also want to go with those sweet little abandoned dogs. I love animals and take care of them I love it, because it's not just doing good for them, but selfishly it's a therapy for me too, because I can feel all their love. keep on and congratulations on your volunteering and on your curie rating

Zante is indeed a beautiful island. I you have a chance to visit Zante then go for it :)
I also like to help the animals and love cats and dogs, but sometimes you feel so sad for them :(
But these dogs enjoy every bit of time you spend with them, it makes my day when i see them so happy.

The images of Greece are very beautiful.
I don't like to see dogs locked in cages. I hope that volunteer work has helped these dogs. Greetings @timroijers and thanks for sharing the experience in this video

I respect the volunteer work that you do. Stray dogs should be taken care of, not to be abandoned. It pains my heart seeing those helpless animals. Thanks for taking care of them. And hopefully this volunteer work would somehow open the hearts and minds of many, so that everyone would have the same mind of taking care of the animals in the neighborhood.

There is a lot to be done on Zakynthos or any other greek island when it comes to stray dogs and cats.
But all the volunteers are doing a wonderful job, they get food, water, play time and veterinary care. It's takes time to change people's mindset on the island but it's slowly getting better.

Zakynthos looks really breathtaking! I love Greece islands. The colour of the sea is so blue and clear. It is nice to watch that you guys had a great holiday and added with a meaningful touch of voluntarism. The dogs are really cute. Do you plan to go back there?
