어제는 희뿌연 잿빛하늘에서 눈물같은 비가 숨 고르듯 내리고
긴 한숨처럼 내 몸짓들이 고단하게 삐걱거릴 때
몇 사람 건너 아는 이의 젊은 한 인생의 마감소식을 접하고
억지로 바다를 향해 술 한 잔 걸치고 뛰어들어야 했던
숨 막을 정도로 힘들었을 주검을 위로하며
짧은 명복을 빌어봤다.
장례식 “
죽은 자가 산자를 초대해 음식을 대접하는 것이라고
기억나지 않은 시인의 시집에서 봤던 글귀가 불현 듯 떠오른다.
겹겹이 두꺼운 겨울 외투를 끼워 입고 비니모자에 레인부츠를 신고
같은 차림의 남편과 집 앞으로 보이는 부두를 향해 발걸음을 내딛었다.
어제와 다르게 햇살이 비친다.
