Hi Everyone,

this will be my first post on Steemit. I hope it will be an interesting one and hope that I'll improve over time.
So, my first post is about religion. I wonder, and I think a lot of others do as well, why religion causes so much pain and war in the world? On the other hand, it gives great comfort to a lot of people.
Every religion is based on love, respect and a set of rules to live by. To my opinion a great base, as long as you don't exclude or hurt other people. So why are so many people hurt by religious rules? I don't have the answer, I'm looking forward to your opinions and hoping to learn from it.
I can't believe that the basics of every religion will exclude gays, give women less rights and gives a reason to kill people....etc.

I'm looking forward to information, tips and great comments.
