Thanks for the vote. Truly. But, I feel it necessary to point out that this is actually not accurate. I have seen two people say this about the image now, but the gif never stops, it cycles endlessly. In the original one, I coded the image to make it so that if you click it, it takes you to the trueflip.io website. So, that's why it seems like it stops.

Only just saw this. Honestly. for the thirteenth time, I did not attack you. I flagged an illegal vote. This is completely justified. I find it hilarious that you keep claiming I attacked you for this simple reason, yet you have followed me around all day sending hostile messages and moaning about your sensitive emotional state.

I am not responsible for the lack of control that you have over your emotions, and I also flagged a number of second-time voters who were looking for another $4. Funny how none of them have been bitching at me all day, perhaps because they know the flag was warranted?

You repaid the favor a hundred times over from what I can see of you following his comments around today. His comment to you here was professional and impersonal, but you called him a douche? Flagging is meant as a way to regulate, and it was properly used in this instance. Tell me you understand that?
I dislike having to use my flag, particularly against those with lower reps than mine not to mention sp because it can have a large effect, but if you don't concede your error gracefully than you will leave me no choice.

I wake up this morning, and see a flag notification. I look around in the post, and see he is not an author of the post and made my initial comment for his flag comment. It was my genuine response. I did think it was a douchy move. If he simply told me of my mistake I would be happy to do my effort to fix.

In my opinion flags are reserved for sever offenses like plagirism, illegal activities, etc.

I didn't know the guy and he didn't know me. So I started looking at his post, to understand what the problem was. It became obvious he was a participant and was going on hating and flagging rampage.

I did explain to him with a mixture of faul language my position. Instead of apologizing he kept on insulting me. I responded in a same manner. I told him and will tell you that I have never had negative experience here, and if you look at my post history you will see I promote being happy steemian.

Today, I was flipped 180 degrees with this guy's actions. I am not proud of some of my actions. For that reason I did edit some of my harshest comments.

I got more mad seeing he was flagging a lot of people, even those who did not provide any vote. In my opinion that showed me he was an arrogant person that can bully others because he has more steem power. So, yes I did flag some of his comments as well.

I shouldn't even be involved in all of this drama. He is claiming everybody is voting for money which is complete BS. I don't care about this money, I vote on merits and friendship. How ethical is that for a participant to intimidate and attack voters? That doesn't make sense to me.

Anyway, I can go on about this all day, because I am still pissed. I decided to stay away from steemit for about a week, so I can get on a right mood to do something good. I have muted him and hope not to see him in the future. I still believe he is a douche based on my conversation with him on his hate post in his blog and here.

Sure it might look like I am a guilty party now, but if you saw the chronology of things and the fact I tried and anticipated things to be made right, maybe you would have different opinion.

I don't know what your bias is in this situation, but feel free to do whatever you want. Because I am done with this BS.

Maybe because you're newer you have never been flagged and therefore it felt like a personal attack. The first time I was ever flagged it felt that way as well. Though I didn't call someone a name, I simply asked what it was that I did to earn it. son-of-satire had already explained. If I were in your shoes in this instance I would have realized my error and simply said "Oh sorry!" and been on about my day.

He is a friend. But I didn't jump in on your conversation inside of his post. Instead I came to where the original problem appeared to have started to see if he had been out of line somehow and caused all of that. What I found was that he rightly flagged your repeat vote and you have apparently lost your mind over it. I'm sorry that it affected you this deeply, but being flagged is something that will occur on this platform if you do things that others find to be harmful to the community.

I do appreciate you being cool about this. While I was waiting for you response I saw your comment on his hate post, which was good but also mentioned your deep friendship to him. Whatever I say, wouldn't change your mind, we are humans, we biased in one way or other.

One point I missed was, very first thing I did in the morning after seeing his flag was I sent him 0,001 SBD with a message to figure out what his problem was with flagging me. I didn't get a response then I left him a comment.

I totally understand flagging is part of the system. But in this case he had no right to do so. He is a participant, he is biased. He can't be going around and intimidating people. If it was the author, I sure would have said nothing and admitted a guilt. Their post, they are the boss.

This post is so popular with long comments, it is so easy to make a double entry by mistake, especially when you are using a phone. I am sure those who count will see that, and correct it. What is the big deal?

What really made me mad was when I saw so many people being flagged by him, who are just like me, minnows. I just couldn't stay silent at that moment.

He has never apologized and my opinion about him never changed. Every comment he made actually reassured how a selfish and disgusting person he is. He can be whatever he wants, he is non-existant to me. All I ask him to leave me alone.

In my short time here I have curated many posts, I have never seen this kind of behavior. I know he is desperate to win, but that doesn't mean he needs to take it out on others.

Anyway, this drama caused me so much time, so much nerves. When I first started Steemit I was most impressed how people were nice to each other compared to other places online. I guess we get some bad apples here and there. Maybe I am one too, who knows. But I am done with this issue now and moving on.

I appreciate almost everything in this comment except you are wrong about him being desperate to win. He was told by friends and even family that if he spoke out like this he wouldn't have a shot in hell of even being a runner up, haha, obviously you can see that didn't deter him. You're right though, I am biased, I know him so I know that he is a very passionate person who will always fight for what he feels is right even if it's extremely unpopular and loses him friends. He would have made a stink about the contest being rigged whether he was a part of it or not if it was brought to his attention...but I'm guessing it's pointless to try and convince you of this.

Just straight up buying votes, so the comment about it not being about the upvotes and about the support is a little funny. The support is obviously not legit if it is paid for. There's multiple alt accounts voting too. @trueflip didn't specify that this is off limits though, so probs get away with it as well. But, it's them who have to live with it. I just worry that it is going to give Steemit a bad name, because this competition got some exposure on coindesk and the likes. A follow up article about how the 30K winner essentially paid for their votes is going to make us look like a bunch of scammers.

Perhaps you view a competition as an electoral campaign, but I view it as a competition. When you make a post requesting that people vote for your entry, and then inform those potential voters that your friend will be voting on each comment for your entry, and then you elaborate by stating just how generous that friend's upvote is. Then, when you share a screenshot labeled "proof" which shows that every vote for your entry is being upvoted for a few dollars, enticing those reading your post to go and vote for you, this insults the integrity of that competition, and of Steemit.

@trueflip did us a solid by running this competition on Steemit, and it earned us some decent promotion. We repay them by tainting their bounty funds through unsporting, and to be frank, immoral voting. You have made me ashamed.

I apologise, you are correct. My thoughts on your post are entirely subjective, and the effort you did or did not put into it is completely irrelevant. However, it is not a matter of opinion that you have bought your votes, so I am not entirely sure what you are talking about when you say that people like it because of their perception. They like it because you told them they will get money for voting on it.

Regarding the True Flip morality don't worry we are on the safe side. When coingraph wrote that article my artwork was one of them there, so they liked it as do others. I have nothing against you and everyone wants to win, I am working hard making True Flip a great marketing to vote my artwork you can do the same.

Maybe it's not the best use of votes, but I have found @timsaid to be very honest and caring in the past. I agree with you that @timsaid did a lot for the Steemit community and I also would not call it 'cheating' what happened here, but in a really fair competition people should vote for what they like and don't vote because they expect to get paid. I really wonder why so many people let manipulate (this word may be too strong) themselves for just 4 dollar? Corruptible so easily?!

No one is defeated. There is still plenty of time for others to get votes, especially if they decide to use alternate accounts and incentived voting too. Don't forget that there is also two second prizes. This is not about sore losing as you and eltooni are attempting to portray. This is about the integrity of our platform, which trueflip were nice enough to use to host their competition.

Whether Tim can vote exactly how he wants is irrelevant. No one is asserting that he needs permission. But, the question on my mind, and I imagine any one else's who feels this to be unbecoming, is should someone who has been delegated 250,000 SP by a whale really be using all of that power to rig a competition, most likely for a cut of the "winnings?" I would think that someone with 250,000 SP, which has been gifted to him, might consider using that power to help people, rather than use it to essential steal a prize pot from others who have put in more effort and probably need the money more. I suppose who it is stolen off is irrelevant also, but the fact that this is what he chooses to use all of his voting power to do, is not in any way admirable. It is greedy and selfish, and not how you treat fellow human-beings.

If the competition is rigged you can't just accept the defeat . It does not help anything to accept the 'defeat' when there is no fairness . However if you raise awareness against the rigged system you could get their attention and maybe they could change the system to a better and fair one. And we can see which artwork deserves the prize in a fair environment.

I also see nothing very special about artwork nr 1. This is a competition for a loto ico. Organised voting of artwork nr 1 doesnt give a good image about trueflip and personally makes me question the fairness of the future loto drawings.

From reading all most all comments, I also wanted to speak a few lines. Friends please, you look the art work of no 1 and 22,In my opinion the both works express the same message. The art work 1if wanted to reach the moon, then you look the art of 22,it wanted to explain the feelings of love and sharing and support to the young ones. It expresses the valuable information about steemit community which one is togetherness,so I do not see the vast difference between the two works. So my question is why all you feel about 1 and not 22.If 1 is sponsored by powerful voters, then is it a competition?. If this is reality, then in my opinion 22is the winner, as he alone can stand 2nd possiton. So I wanted to suggest trueflip to judge the result honestly and fairly.

I think it depicts a very wonderful theme at it's core. The cute dolphin is bound to the terrain, yet it's focus is on the moon, where we all want to go. And what happens when the cute dolphin is around, it's a truly flipping time with the money raining and rewards for everyone :)

You can see it wasnt just another montage or c/p or just a simple edit. Well at least it looks like it was made from scratch. The image isn't too overcrowded and to me it looks like a part of some bigger story. An adventure i wouldn't mind reading about.

I vote for #36. I like how it tells a story. It seems like a lot of thought and work was put into it. Also, I wanted to say that the first one was pretty good, but it seems odd on how many votes it got. Are folks getting paid to vote for that one or something??

Although I like the competition, the perception of influence is palpable. It should be a straight vote, no comments, nothing else. For this much prize money, there should a system of voting where integrity is not in doubt.
This is not to impugn anything or anyone. It is not my contest. It is just not how I would have done it.

#29 best meets that as a futuristic "place in the universe" where treasure was found, raining down.

This strip has some nice potential - the search for the golden block(s). It could be made into an adventure series, a cartoon strip, a game, all kinds of things. It had a lot of potential.

I think it is a very cool concept that could be used in promotion material to really sell the platform.

It's so hard to choose. I think I have to go with 21. because it's so original and innovative. I love some of the others though that just make me feel happy when I look at them (runner up: #14.)
