"Ebeg" is a traditional dance arts from Banyumas, using a horse doll made of woven bamboo. The Ebeg dance depicts the brave warriors who are riding a horse.

Ebeg performances accompanied by a musical instrument called Bendhe. This musical instrument has a physical characteristic like a gong but the smaller size is made of metal. The other musical instruments are Gendhing Banyumasan such as kendang, saron, kenong, gong and trumpet.

The songs are usually told about the traditional societies life, usually contains poetry, lively and tells about the art of Ebeg itself.
