This post is going to explain how I am going to calculate the ecency vs curation experiment. There may be better way to do this but this keeps it simple for me.

For ecency, I will simply calculate based on HIVE received during that time frame.

I will then calculate what the APR would be for the year based on the data percentage wise for both.

The formula is:
ecency-
Amount of HIVE received /HP x52. (or if it's done every two weeks x26). That will give and average APR for each time frame

Curation-
I will go with Hivestats.io for 7 day curation earnings. if I am doing bi weekly calculations, I will multiply that number by 2. then /HP x52 (or 26 if it's be weekly calculation)

If hivestats is down I will do the math manually or use an alternate source for the data like https://hiveearnings.botlord.eu/.

This will give an average APR
The curation will not include HIVE interest earned in the calculations.

For ecency I will also make a note of points received. Though point accumulation is slow eventually I will earn enough to receive an incoming HP delegation and that obviously would boost curation earnings for that time frame. It will take about 3 months (slightly less) to get enough points for a 3 month delegation.

I'm not sure how long I will run this experiment. It will be at least a month, maybe up to 3 months. Right now I am delegating 1900 HP to ecency. i think that will be enough to start the experiment. I may increase the delegation slightly but I don't think it will make much of a difference. 1900 is a good amount to test.
