Sometimes I feel like I've just been treading through water my entire life. I often find myself asking "what's the point?"
Being a stay at home mom is not easy! It's hard work. I have tiny humans so dependent on me, I can't move, I can't breathe, I am completely sleep deprived and on top of that I have absolutely no control over anything myself. I worry about everything! Where will tomorrows food come from, how will we afford our rent this month, school fees, electricity is sky high, my kids needs clothes, they need shoes, they need love and attention, my hubby needs me too, I need more time for my bible study and prayer, the house needs better cleaning, how to make money online..... I started blogging, hoping that I'll be able to scratch one thing of my list, but it's hard work too and bring with it it's own worries, how will I get more followers, what are other people interested in reading, when will I get the time to read other posts and comment something meaningful... and I haven't been able to scratch one single thing from my list of worries.
I constantly have to remind myself that I AM NOT BULLETPROOF. I'm human.
Whenever things get really out of control, God always finds someone that needs me to tell them that everything will be ok and strange enough, even when I don't feel like "counselling" anyone, I always end up feeling better afterwards.
Today I need to tell someone, you will be ok.
Learn to say no
It often takes humility to say no.
It often takes courage to say no.
It often takes wisdom to say no.
It often takes LOVE to say no!
Mat 5:37 - "but let your word be, Yes, Yes, No, No, and that which is more than these is of the evil [one]."
Focus on renewal of your spirit every single day
Trust me, you need your Dad to be with you everyday
Isaiah 40:1 ~ Yet those who wait for the Lord
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary.
Remember who's in control
We may not know what the future holds, but we know who holds the future
Isaiah 55:8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD."
Phillipians 4:6 "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."
