Hello guys and a happy new month to y'all
Also happy Sabbath day to you.
I would love to share my experience today at a particular church i was invited to today, or should i say fellowship?
The name of this fellowship is JESUS DISCIPLES FELLOWSHIP, this particular branch is located somewhere in obehie, Abia State Nigeria.

MY EXPERIENCE

• Firstly i would start off by saying confessing this, i haven't really gone to church for a very long time now. It's up to 1 year that i went to church last but today was different.
  My sister invited me to her fellowship so i went, when i got there they have started praying already so i joined them. While praying i started to feel different, like i felt self pity and at the same time filled with joy. When we were done with the prayer section the praises began, the songs they sang i was familiar with them so i sang along and even filled much fullfilled.

• Sometime later the praise and worship session was over and they started sorting out the members based on there classes so newcomers would be attended to properly. I sat patiently as they starting giving announcements and when that was done the teaching started.

TOPIC :

GOSPEL REPENTANCE
They defined this topic as the action from the spirit against sin.
The topic elaborated go the point of describing the two beings that exists in a man which are the flesh and the spirit man.
The spirit man is the being in you that is responsible for your spiritual welfare and most people have already quenched the fire of the spirit man, you can feed your spirit man by doing the works of the lord and abstaining from sins and other things that doesn't glorify the Lord.
The flesh can be up and doing in the affairs of the church but still can't make it to the kingdom of God, because unless the spirit and the flesh abstains and agrees together a man is fooling himself.

FURTHER MORE

Using the case of the Samaritan woman in the bible which was doing Gods work but still was sinning, you can't be a sinner and claim you are a child of God. In the case of this Samaritan woman she had 5 husband's, and was doing the lord's work but because he spirit man wasn't fed very well as her sins kept hindering her from hearing from the Lord. Even when our lord Jesus Christ her she doesn't even know who he was, why? The spirit man wasn't active to hearken unto the voice of the Lord.

After the preaching a couple of questions were asked based on individual understanding, the offering was taken and the church dismissed.

Indeed it was a blissful experience for me, one that is out of this world, it gave me a chance to make peace with a whole lot things and being able to stand in the presence of the Lord once again.
