Move old posts to community?

I briefly looked at hivemind source code and it seems it doesn't allow to update old post to make it belonging to a community. I suggest to allow moving old posts at least by admins/mods, and maybe members.

This can't be done, at least not without changing the current design of communities. That because a community uses the "hive-xxxxxx" tag as the primary tag, and that, as you know, can't be changed.

Those older posts have different primary tags.

There is the option of cross posting old posts into the new community, currently supported by Steempeak. But if it's not your community that will most likely be considered as spamming the destination community.

Hmm yes, parent_permlink cannot be changed.

Cross-posting could be a solution, thanks.

It may be possible to do this in the future via some migration op. At least to update all old blog posts into their own new community.
