I found an explaination of how to go about formating posts on steemit so i figured I would make a post while trying the different elements that I learned.

Header Format #

Header Size 2

To make your text into a header format you just place # before and another # after with spaces between the symbol and the text. Using two # will also alter the header to another size.

Italic Text
To create Italic text you place a * before and after the text with no spaces between text and *.

Bold Text
Similar to the Italic text to create bold text you simply use two * instead of a single *
